These were purchased as part of my hunting tree climbing gear. I like how, unlike some of the cheaper carabiners that come with hunting gear, there are no sharp or jagged edges to catch on rope.

I don't use these for climbing, but they're of excellent quality and have a nice locking mechanism to prevent them from becoming lost or unclipped unexpectedly.

These are small carabiners that will be used for the rating - As a result, they're ideal for securing hand ascenders to climbing ropes, as well as descenders like the PETZL I'D L to harness attachment points (ring on bridge, rope bridge, and so on). I prefer the screwlock to the autolocking tri-lock because it is easier for me to manipulate. The gate has an action type. There will be no fumbling.
