The intended use was not realized. Outside, it is not intended to be left.

Once it is fully inflated, how long does it take?

Air cannot be used to fill it up. There are compressed pieces of foam inside. In the evening, after we took the box out, it expanded over night.

What would it be like to sleep on this?

The answer is yes. It has served as a bed during several sleepovers and we have also used it to watch movies while the kids lay on it as well.

The Pugs will love it It works great for my Pug who is getting older and sometimes falls off the couch

Two of my other dogs love it too because they also fall asleep on it. As for myself, I bought this because I have an aging Pug that sometimes falls off the couch.

This product came in a small, compact box which made it very portable

The surface is incredibly fun for my son to crash on. The form is a bit on the hard side. I was expecting it to be.

Although the product description stated that it was a 3x4 crash pad with a cover, the item I received did not include it.
