Questions & Answers

Can this be used by a child who is a half-year-old?

If I were you, I would wait until they move a little more easily. There is a big shift when it is In the year and a half before I purchased, my daughter was a year and a half old.

In the inner cover, what is the material used?

There is no guarantee that it is waterproof, but it does appear to be. Some type of plastic or vinyl would work for me.

Could you send me an inner cover replacement? The crash pad we use daily is the best we have ever had. Have you experienced ripping of the inner cover in the past?

Although I do not know whether the inner cover can be replaced, it is possible to purchase a replacement outer cover. If you read all of the reviews, I went ahead and purchased the extra outer shell when I purchased mine Towards the end of the all-encompassing cover, a tear is anticipated. We have not experienced any leaks since installing three layers, and it is easy to maintain.

What is the fire retardant rating of this product?

I do not know whether it is When I called the company to find out if this was fire retardant, they returned my call and said it

The most amazing thing for my 8 y/o son with ASD and ADHD ever! You may also Since he was capable of walking, our son has been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD
4/5

Even as an 18-month-old, he seemed to have more energy and a desire to jump off of everything. is our mission since then to continue to provide him with safe and appropriate outlets for him to be able to meet his sensory needs and to use the energy in a productive way. I initially invested in a rebounder trampoline and a plyobox, but after he started stacking pillows and blankets to land in, I realized that the floors on our hardwood and tile floors were not safe for him. I think we have been waiting for this a long time! From the pictures and video, you can see he does front flips onto it from the counter, and the landing is always soft, too. The cover is soft, so he can lay in it when he's winding down, and it's easy to zip off and In its own right, our dog thinks it's his new bed, except when he's jumping on it! Despite the thickness and uneven distribution of foam, it is thick and even. The mat is large enough for him to land on, but light enough for us to stand it against a wall or move it into a storage room if we need to get rid of it. Having vents on the sides allows air to escape with every crash, which I find awesome. The fact that he does this for hours on end has made such a huge difference in both his behavior and happiness at home and at school, as it lets him fully meet his sensory and physical needs. To make the experience better, you only need to keep in mind In addition to that, you get a tiny little section of what appears to be a rug pad to keep it from sliding when you land on it. He's making a total joke of himself. A rug pad of full size was also tried but that also failed to work. As soon as he lands on it, it slides. It doesn't seem to bother him and he often scoots it back into its place before he jumps, but be aware that if you place it on a smooth surface, it WILL slide unless you find a way to prevent it from doing so. My yoga mat will hopefully help keep the cover from sliding under it. However, it would have been better if it came with silicone dots or something integrated into the bottom side of the cover that would prevent the cover If it were reversible, it wouldn't be as cumbersome as it is now, but some kind of sliding solution would be better. Use on carpet wouldn't allow it to slide too much. Apart from that, I don't have anything negative to say and want to shout it from the roof tops to all the other parents I know who are dealing with autism! We have found it to be an absolute blessing. A PERFECT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY! As with all this product, the packaging is amazing (vacuum packed and rolled up) and it only took a few hours for it to inflate enough to be used. You will be glad you invested in this crash pad if you have children with ADHD, ASD, or both like we have, or even if you have kids who are really active, rambunctious. It is large and does require a lot of space, so make sure you have the space in your house to house it. This review is going to be helpful for you, and I sincerely hope that it will be! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I paid full price for this and just wanted to spread the word.

It's THE best thing ever for our kids
5/5

Today the crash pad was delivered to us, and we've already put it Despite being sensory seeking (2 and 12 years old), my kids love this game. It was a race against time as they ran and leapt The softness of the bed made it appealing to our oldest son, who wanted to sleep on it. This is a highly recommended book!.

It will be loved by your kids, but it will take up too much space according to your wife
5/5

A small climbing wall was built for my son, but the 1" foam pad on the floor was not adequate in case he fell from more than 2 ft, from there I purchased this wonderful crash pad that is made with leftover scraps from multiple foam sheets at the mattress factory. Considering the outer cover will degrade in the sun quickly, it is better to use it indoors or only leave it outside when it is being used, rather than always. I like the velvety cover so much, the kids like to play, jump on it, roll on it, crawl on it, etc. While it has a velvety cover, it is harder to clean and not water-resistant, so spills meant cleaning the outside and then removing it to clean the inside. *It is incredibly big, it is 5' x 5' and 3' thick or more. The problem is much more complicated than you might.

The price is great and the quality is great
5/5

In my search for a positive alternative to crash pads for my sensory seeking son, I discovered this one for a much lower price than others and decided to try it. Roll it up in a box and it will arrive flat. Having unpacked it in our basement, we unrolled it and it filled with air after a few minutes. In just a few minutes, it was ready to jump on. There's nothing better than having my son play with For a long time, he remains calm after playing on it for only 15 minutes. It is great to have a washable cover in this product. In addition to being comfortable to just sit on and watch TV, you can also read a book or two. Having this product in our home makes us very happy!.

It's the boys' energy that drives them
5/5

The following information is helpful. Let me tell you Although this machine is huge and cumbersome, let me tell you this There's no better way to pass the time than to play on days when it's cold or rainy outside and you've got some homeschooled kids stuck inside. It gave me a headache for the first week I had it because of the "chemical" smell it produced. My kids enjoyed playing on it on a sunny day when I took it to the driveway. It was an exercise to try and push all the air out of the inner bag and to get them all (four) to lay on it at once. Taking some fresh air is good for the soul. You find an inner bag filled with foam blocks, and an outer bag with mesh in its corners so you can release air from within. The next day, I brought it in to find the smell was gone! I had left it in the sun in the sun for 4 hours.
At the moment, we only play inside with it.

Exactly what I was looking for for my SPD child
5/5

wanted a crash pad since her occupational therapist introduced her to the experience of jumping and falling into one, but the cost of most of them is beyond my means. There were some similar ones on the market, however I found this one to be half the price. Apparently, that was something I wasn't entirely confident about. However, I gave it a go anyway. THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE IT BETTER! A soft cover that can easily be washed is a great feature. As well as being a crash pad, it is the perfect seat for watching movies. This is a great buy and a must for any kid.

This is not a waterproof product! It's a huge hit with all my kids, especially my son who has autism
3/5

There is no water resistance despite the fact that it says so. It has become an obsession for our cat to pee on it, and this happens often when my sons pull up leaks. I have washed both outer covers (which have the smell) and mine is unusable since it has gone through both outer covers and into the inner foam layers. After the cat is gone, I will try and clean all 800+ of the interior blocks, if that does not work, the box will go in the trash and will have been a waste of money.

You can use it for so many cool things! Crash Pad has been a great addition to our family
5/5

Our Democratic School's Rumpus Room received one for our home and one for our children's home. The fact that I don't have to clean up "beans" was a big selling point, and the foam blocks are sturdy enough to withstand any kind of rough play. Kids put them at the bottom of stairs, under swings, on top of their beds, or right in the middle of the living room, basically anywhere they feel safe With its washable cover, this is a perfect choice for public spaces, pet areas, and food areas. I was extremely happy with the price, the shipping was fast, and the product was a great match! I cannot say enough good things about this You did a great job with your show!.
