Several years ago, I was looking for crash pads, and a friend told me to forget about the 2 panel ones, they are going to work for a while, then you will realize they aren't large enough, and the next one will need to replace It would probably be a good idea to just get the trifecta Lay the crash pad in front of you. Moreover, it is big enough to sleep on after you have been climbing all day. I feel pretty solid in the foam used in this product. It's been a year since I used it. So far, nothing seems to have worn out. Straps on a backpack are fine- there's nothing special about them. Having the ability to fold up and hook everything together is great. I found this crash pad to fit perfectly in the trunk of my 2005 Honda Civic, but it is too big for some of my friends! The back seat or the center console had to be arranged vertically behind the passenger seat while the front seat was flat. While the price might seem a bit steep, overall I would buy this again no matter how much it costs. It is always more important to climb safely than anything else!.
I used this pad in a live performance to protect my head and spine when I jumped from a platform onto it from about four feet down. The umbrella can be folded and put into the trunk of my Impala.
I bought this as a gift for my son. His favorite part of it is the music.
In spite of the size of this pad and the way in which it folds, the foam is quite blown out after only one year of regular use. It would be a great idea if Metalius looked into some better foam that lasted It is my second Metolius pad and I will not be purchasing another because of the cheap foam used in this product.
