Questions & Answers

Would you be able to reassure me that this previously priced $249 crash pad is really only $5 less now?

It can be purchased from the gear coop for 248, depending on your location. My view of 95 is that it's not a big deal.

How about for Judo? Could anyone recommed it? In order to help absorb the impact of being thrown 100's of times, I need a pad that is designed to change shape. ?

I wasn't really thinking of doing that but if you don't get one you would have to get more than one. The Velcro covers at the Velcro seam are a danger for your ankles if you use it for judo. A wrestling mat might be a good idea.

Two squares can be connected to form a 6' x 7' square, right? a way to do this with Velcto?

You can connect the pad with velcro, the velcro is part of it

The pad can it fold in half when the thickness is 10"?

The article folds in a third for a 15" thickness as you can see in the image.

I am in love with I bought this to use with my portable aerial rig, and I am delighted with it
5/5

It is great to have a larger portable mat for safety when teaching circus arts. It is light weight, portable, well built, and extremely well built. I was looking to get a crash pad, but this is even better. This is also better than a crash pad because of its dual purpose luxury camping and as a 6ft tall person I needed something longer with more space for spread out. if I could change one thing, I would choose the color 1) The product is highly recommended.

What size pad do you need? I urge you to look Climbers were happy to carry this as an addition to their gear
5/5

During bouldering, I use the Mad Rock R3, Mad Rock Duo, and the Mad Rock Triple Mad Pad to cover a large area. With its integrated Velcro attachment sleeves, these pads fill in all the gaps with other Mad Rock pads and have been an essential piece of equipment to complete Please be aware that this does not feature pockets, and is extremely The foam has a very nice feel to it when climbing, and the person carrying it separate has been very happy with the feel.

I am very happy with my purchase
5/5

I've never seen a rock climbing pad like this. It was difficult to decide between a double and a triple and I have to say that I am glad I picked You can easily carry this device due to its lightweight nature. In my experience, a 5'6" woman doesn't have any trouble scrambling over rocks with the backpack on her back on her way to her The handle is pretty stiff and I've yet to roll my ankle when landing on it, but I prefer it this way. A bargain for a pad of this quality would be hard to find.

This is awesome! You may feel like this is a bit pricey but it covers a lot of ground
5/5

It is a great choice if you don't want to lug around a lot of equipment. It is thick and designed perfectly for what it is intended to do. Perhaps bouldering would not be so frightening if we all had one of these.

This is a solid, reliable mat at a great price
5/5

Huge mat at a great price. There is a lot of firmness to it, which makes bouldering go smoothly. You could use a foam topper beneath or above it or both if you want something a little softer. Be sure to bend your knees before letting go of the rope. Aside from that, the sofa option on it is also very The only thing I would like is to see them restock. It won't go to Alaska through the Madrock site, so I have to source it through Currently, each unit I bought has been sold out. Please restock it so I can get.

Protection that is portable and effective
5/5

I am very pleased with the I can move around with ease since it's so light. A ninja warrior course was actually purchased with the intent to use underneath it for our kids. In addition to getting the pad moved by his own power, my son is also 10 years old. This material absorbs the impact of all the kids' falls as they have fallen hard on it.

The stitching is nice but a sturdier fabric would make this a much better choice
5/5

In general, I am pleased with the purchase. As you might expect from Mad Rock. As well as a bouldering pad, camp couch, and spare mattress I use this at home as well.

This was a great pad, but there was nothing to hold it together
3/5

I am in love with this pad. However, the harness is the worst I have ever encountered. There was a person who had only one job, make sure that the harness system works. Yet they never brought boulders out for a climb.
