There is a tendency for this pad to rip. My phone was able to be used for a while, but did I get Although I used it despite my tears, it didn't seem the tears had any effect on the tears. It is a trade-off between what you get and what you pay for.
The mat is great, I'll be buying another one. The surface is really firm and great for falling down on. I use it both outside and in my climbing wall.
Originally, the crash pad is intended to be used as a rock climbing crash pad on a floor. Thus, you would need to modify it in some way. The device is not equipped with any type of wall mounting hardware.

My kids built a climbing wall in the basement and this is what they used for a pad. It would probably work fine for an adult climbing up 15 feet or so (although it is quite small for such distances) but for a little 50 pound body, it is VERY hard. If you are getting a pad for little ones, look for something softer. I believe it still works well with the target audience despite the fact that it doesn't match what I want, so I'm giving it an overall positive rating even though it's not what I wanted.
Those who fall on it will be safe.
This is a gift I bought for my son, who has recently This seems to be a hit with him. This is a very firm and durable rock climbing safety item, so we fully expect him to use it for his lifesaving missions. In fact, he made a bench that will fit it so that he can put it to use in his living room. It gives great quality at a very reasonable.
I think this is one of the best crash pads out there for the price. I have found it to be one of the cheapest pads yet also one of the most durable I have found. Bouldering in the New River Gorge area near Fayetteville, WV and out in multiple areas near Colorado Springs, CO have been great with it.
I am very satisfied. Excellent for pandemic situations He gets the zoomies out with stunts, falls into the pad, and gets the zoomies out with stunts.
I highly recommend this product. This is a good piece of work. Our existing mat required this mat to be connected to it.
It took me some time to figure out how to use it when I first got The object in front of me knocked me over, so I fell to the ground. After falling onto the pad I was not sure what to expect, but when my torso hit first, I popped my neck funny and slammed my head back hard. I lay there wondering what just happened, staring at the ceiling. Once I rolled over, I saw Madrock so I decided to find out more about it. Having watched all the videos on building, I decided to take my pad outside. Right now, I am sending 25ft views of version 15 and version 16.
I like the crash pad, but it is not as soft as I would like.
