Most average hands will find medium to be a good fit. My girlfriend is 5'8" and they are a perfect fit for her.
For a 41-year-old woman, my hands are quite small. And the xs fits me perfectly; I'd say it's true to size for a woman's size, but it's stretchy.
They've only recently begun to be used for the same purposes. They're holding up well, but I'll probably replace them every 60 to 90 days because of the cost. 120 days.

I liked how the gloves fit me perfectly and how soft the palm surface is. Everything seemed to be fine until the needle scratched my left hand. What is the purpose of the needle, and why is it there? Anyway, put it in the description if the needle is supposed to be paired there! Or, if it comes without warning, proceed with caution!.
I'm glad I did because those cables were extremely hot and would have ripped my hands apart if I hadn't used gloves. I'm sure any grippy glove would suffice, but these made me feel extra secure. My boyfriend was wearing gardening gloves, which left his fingers red and sore, so I was grateful for the extra padding. You can also take them to the climbing gym and use them for a variety of rope exercises and obstacles. In my opinion, it is well worth the money.
I'm new to climbing and am working on forming calluses on my hands. I was doing pretty well until I was betrayed by someone roughly three times my size. My hands had reached the end of their usefulness - I thought I'd never be able to use my hands again because they were bleeding in multiple places and burning. Then these gloves arrived! For the time being, I'm just using them to heal my hands, and they're working great. I can safely belay everyone without fear of my hands ripping off. I'll also use them if I'm belaying people who are heavier than me, at least until I gain the strength to do so without gloves. They're cozy, cute, and reasonably priced.
These are what I bought to use while rock climbing. My hands and palms are extremely sensitive, and the rocks frequently rip them apart. These have been a huge success. It doesn't obstruct my climbing efforts and still gives me the freedom to maneuver as needed without cutting my hands. I intend to use these for repelling as well, but I have yet to do so. br>br>Durability: br>br>Affordability: br>br>Afford So far, they've held up well in terms of durability. br>br>Size: br>br> I ordered a small, which appears to be the correct size; however, I would prefer them to be a little tighter because they appear to bunch slightly. It wasn't enough to make a difference, but it was enough to draw attention to it.
It's true that splinters exist. I've been wearing the fingerless carpenters gloves from Home Depot for about a month now. I decided to give these little beauties a try when I saw them pop up in my feed. These are my work gloves for life; they are extremely durable, breathable, and comfortable, and we've had them for over two months. Thank you for providing such a high-quality product at such a low cost. (Update: December 2020) I've posted a photo of my gloves at replacement time; as you can see, the palms are in good shape, but the left thumb is fraying from constant dragging across my work. Carpenter's gloves from Home Depot (at a higher price point) fall apart after a month, as I previously stated. We've been working on these for almost four months. I'm not a rock climber, but I can rip the palms off of a pair of gloves. These aren't among them. Thank you once more!.
These gloves are a nightmare to wear. They have a multi-piece construction that looks nice but clogs up my fingers with seams. They're also a bit stuffy. Although the back fabric appears to be of good quality, it is mostly itchy. Because the velcro wrist strap crosses my wrist joint directly, it's difficult for me to bend my wrists while wearing them. Still, if all you have is $20 and you need a pair of belay gloves, these are the gloves for you.
I wish I'd bought some climbing gloves a long time ago. br>br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br> Fingerless Anything easier than full finger gloves that don't require removal saves your hands from feeling like they've been rubbed with a cheese grater. br>.
For belaying, these gloves are ideal. I was getting my hand rubbed raw from belaying in the gym, and these were exactly what I needed. Some of the seams rubbed my hand strangely at first, but that went away after two attempts. Added advantage: I feel like I'm going to do some awesome 80's kickboxing workout when I put them on.
