Product Description

TrailBuddy Trekking Poles' aluminum is tougher than carbon fiber, allowing them to resist pressure and impact better than carbon fiber. This is an important feature when hiking on rocky terrain or if you experience a lot of weight carry.
ALUMINUM 7075 - The aluminum 7075 sticks weigh roughly 4 ounces fewer than typical hiking sticks made of 6061 aluminum, a lighter and safer material. This makes the hiking sticks an ideal gift for outdoor enthusiasts!
THESE TELESCOPIC POLES ARE EASIER TO ADJUST THAN TWIST LOCKS - Changing the height from 24 to 30 inches. Thanks to its lever-locking system, its mechanism makes it easy to adjust its length from 5 to 54 inches, even with gloves on or in wet conditions
Built for comfort - You can use the cork handles in hot or cold temperatures, they wick moisture, and they adjust to the shape of your hand the padded strap will leave no chafing marks on your skin while carrying the bag.
Choose from beautiful black, blue, red, green, yellow, pink, purple, or aqua poles. They also include a carrying bag, 2 pair rubber tips, 1 pair connectors, mud baskets, and snow baskets (for light snowshoeing only, not for skiing).

Questions & Answers

The Trailbuddy screw need to be done- What is the best way to screw on rubber tips? It doesn't seem as though there are threads on the tips at the bottom. ?

I was told yesterday that the makers of Trailbuddy were working on a new set of threads that attach the rubber tips so that they don't fall I provided them with my old lower pole and they promised to send me a new one. The availability of this online is not completely clear to me. It may be in the near future. We will publish a new version within a

Are the poles compact and can they fit in my suitcase? Where are the poles on their shortest side?

There are 24 hours left in the year. When collapsed, the cot is about 5 inches short. In case that still doesn't work, you can take it apart and then it will go down to 21 inches in length. If you disassemble it, it'll be quite easy to put back together.

Can you give me an idea of how heavy exactly the trekking poles are? How many ounces are there on each plate? I just want to be sure that the weight is accurate. ?

My name is Tom and I'm nine. Without any accessories, the pole weights about 7 ounces. The next time we add the rubber tips and the baskets, we'll have The poles weigh 2 ounces each. Let me know how that goes!

What kind of hikes will I be able to do with them? These are water-resistant, but can they be wetted?

indeed, if you are heading through a river, these would be useful. They can protect you from accidental slips, especially if the rocks are a bit slippery, and you can also use them to gauge and test the ground (or riverbed) before stepping on it. If you are going to take the poles apart and wipe dry or air dry them, you may want to give them a thorough drying afterwards. It is a given for metals to rust, so it is a good idea to dry the poles after washing them.

The benefit of a superior product without the cost of a superior product
5/5

Everything I knew about trekking poles could easily fit into a thimble before I began to research Cathy and I hiked the three mile, 800 ft high Mountain trail. We have sticks in about 100 spots on the Elephant Back Mountain trail in Yellowstone, and about 6 miles of other trails as well. It didn't occur to us that this was the norm, so we just figured it was the way hikers used poles, until we saw other hikers with poles that looked to us like ski As a result of the amount of hiking we do, I thought it could be time to upgrade from wood to something a little In addition, Cathy's birthday was late in coming, so it seemed like a good present. I have a bit of a hard time understanding it as I received answers to questions I didn't even know to ask all across Amazon's outfitter network. A range of prices is available starting at You can spend anywhere between $800 and So which one is best? Aluminum or Carbon Fiber? Is it better to use cork or foam grips? What kind of latch do I need to secure them in place, the screw type or the flip and snap type? There are dozens of different types of attachment tips, but which ones come with which? Also, I would like to add Cathy to the list (when it comes to her). Can you tell me what color they are? When I started reading more reviews than War And Peace, I narrowed down all the factors and found three brands in 35 to 40 dollar range that stood out. The thing is, I didn't want to spend 120 bucks on something I had never used, but I also did not want something that was so cheap that it was unusable. When explaining how their locking system works, one seller on the page gave instructions on how to "turn the knob" one way or the other. The only difference was that they spelled it There are two TRUNs and one The Knop. Turn the knob in the opposite direction. It doesn't look like they can spell TURN and KNOB even in their own ad on the Amazon site, so what chance do I really have that their product will help me get up and down a 1000 feet The two of them were therefore gone. I could have found two more, but something about the Trailbuddy poles kept me coming back, no matter what type I investigated. On the trigger, I grabbed a blue set for me and a red set for my sister. This set was for my wife, Cathy, and after logging a few trail miles in them, we are thrilled to have it. The wooden stick I was carrying weighed 5 lbs! No wonder my arms were so tired after hiking for miles! Although I doubt I would succeed in beating back any bear with an aluminum pole in my hand if I encountered one! However, can they support my 200 lb frame up and down hills, over muddy or rocky terrain, and are they able to prevent slips and fall? I bet you're right! I mean AND a little more! The two of them are pretty ecstatic as well. I won't lie to you, I don't think she ever enjoyed the wooden sticks This product works well, but my daughter's hands become too rough after using it and need to be moisturized more afterward. We love this product and will definitely purchase In honor of Orange Day As an option in the ad, they were shown in an empty color. However, when I clicked on them to purchase them in my choice of color, that color was unavailable. In the event that I ever laid them down to take a photo of Cathy conquering a mountain again, I figured orange would be an excellent color to see in the woods. That, and the Astros play in the same color! There's either a shortage of them or they are extremely What matters is that there is no problem. The color blue is my favorite, and it's also the Astros' color! It is true that I was concerned by the few reviews that spoke of the rubber tips falling off, but Cathy and I have already put ours through hell and have never experienced this A new design might be in the works. When you are tired of trekking pole hell and are looking for a way out, check out this page. There is nothing to disappoint you.

Poles that are great I used them for ten minutes, but didn't get much time with them
5/5

It would be nice to have I am very pleased with the product. The problem was that I didn't get to use them for more than ten Our trip to Iceland included hiking on both meadows and snowfields. I went ahead and purchased them to take with me. In the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, was a guided group hike led by an older couple in their late 60s who were incredibly pleasant and vibrant -- they appeared to be in their mid-30s. It was because they were under-funded that they couldn't do it A lot of preparation took place and there was a surplus Because we were in the middle of nowhere, the option of turning back was no longer available (a boat dropped us off on one side of a fjord). As a result, they were trying to make the most of conditions that did not favor them I am in a good position. So, let's say. . . To keep her company on the rest of the hike, I let my wife (72 years old) use my new Trailbuddy poles. As it turned out, she had to finish this course in order to even be able to finish. My brand new poles were returned to her in less than brand new condition, but I insisted that she keep them because she was so grateful for We were on our last day of a 3-week trip, they were in Boston on their second day of a 3-week trip they were in Connecticut on day 2. Despite insisting that she needed them more than us, we were still unable to help her. It would have been impossible for us to buy a set since we were in the middle of nowhere. My second pair of shoes is in the mail!.

This is a well made product
5/5

You did a fantastic job! It's hard to believe that these trekking poles exist! Back in May 2018, I bought these, and they've been through a lot since. The poles have become tangled between rocks and are close to breaking, but they are very well made. We highly recommend this book! One of the only problems I have is that I lost the snow baskets, and I would like to know if they are available separately so I can order a second.

Despite her husband's love for them, she wasn't able to do
5/5

In Arizona and Utah, we planned to trek through National Parks and National Monuments. In preparation for purchasing a pair of trekking sticks, I asked my wife if she would like a set of trekking sticks as well. She was afraid of appearing old and infirm so she said no. Both of us are in good health at the age of 68 and 70. In the end, I ordered a pair for myself. When they arrived I had constructed the first one in a matter of minutes. The first time she saw it, she yelled, "That looks great!" Do you have one for me? It's true I did!" I replied, "It's true!" I grabbed the one that was now hers, and the other one disappeared. To be honest, all we needed was one pole per person. The other one was equally pleasing to her as the other one was to me. It was very easy to stabilize ourselves going downhill, which is why these bikes are so handy. There are cork grips on the handles and comfortable straps on the grips. It was so easy to adjust the height and they didn't slip at all when we lean all our weight on them. As described in the directions, the company contacted us twice, the first time to verify that we knew how to tighten the height adjustment screws and if any other issues occurred, but we had no problems. Our hiking guide recently contacted us to inquire about how we enjoyed their service. It is as if the poles made it possible for her to move half-as fast as she had been before The length of time she usually would be is the same. The purchase was an excellent one on the whole. Their services are of the highest quality. These were the ones I settled on after doing a lot of research.
