While my husband brought a more expensive trekking stick, I felt like I didn't need to spend more than $80 on a pair of sticks, so I selected one on Amazon that cost much less. I'm not an expert in sporting goods, but I think this is a similar product to the one my husband bought for $80. The purchase overall was a very good experience.

My Glacier National park trip required me to have this, so I got it at a 50% off discount. Our first day was spent hiking. I took one of these sticks and almost fell down when it As it is an expandable stick, when I put pressure on it, it collapsed, won't recommend. In the end, I bought new ones from the Glacier gift shop. The item has been returned.
