I think I may have received the wrong tarp, since it's not rectangular like the picture shows. There are flaps on both sides of the tent so it extends up to about 15 x 12 and measures about 10ft x 10ft. There are only three flaps, making this tarp essentially a 10ft x 10ft sheet. It has some very idiotic advertising on it. The aerodynamics of it aren't ultralight, either. Stakes made of aluminum are useless, except when you need to.
Tarps can be extremely useful, but I did not expect this one to be so good. During our picnics and camping trips, I was looking for something to help my family get shade, and this one certainly fit the bill. We all like it, and we recommend this tarp to anyone. We got it last week, and it was easy to set up in our backyard. When it set up, it looks very durable, and we were all very pleased with it. The pictures I'll have when we go camping will be more detailed.
There is nothing wrong with the tarp in and of itself. A bit heavy, but still pretty good. It would be more disappointing if it came with accessories. I would never trust these guy lines in any type of weather since I think they are between shoe laces and yarn. Stakes are aluminum, very weak aluminum, and cannot be driven through anything except soft soil or sandy soil. Tarp bag is oversized and not suited for tying the tarp back on. Bag is not sized to fit tarp back in, but is too large. As a result, the tarp will not compress at all, leaving it to take up a bit of space If you combine all of these things, you have a really overpriced tarp. There's one from another Amazon seller's brand (still Chinese), and it's much lighter. It also came with a nice stuff sack and has really nice lines on it. In the end, the stakes were the same, but the whole kit cost $11 less.
A tent tarp like this was purchased to cover my deck that currently has a pergola covering it. There is a tarp on the middle rung of the pergola that straddles the bottom support and tethers to the four four-pointed It keeps the area beneath dry for months and is very durable, I've used it through some pretty decent storms and it has held up perfectly. It's a staple in my home now and I've been very happy with it.
I can't believe it rained so much! We stayed awake all night and all morning. Our picnic table and site had the rain fly set up over them. So, no matter how hard it rained, we were able to eat, chat, and enjoy ourselves. I recommend this book highly! As a result, the backpack will be light, strong, and easily stored in the luggage after you return from your trip. However, the shape does not fit into a rectangle. If you plan on using cordage, make sure you bring extra. As well as the poles, you might need a few. Light and heat are reflected by the silver lining, allowing you to stay comfortable during cold, wet days and nights. A great product! We were really happy with it!.
Recently, my wife and I took a camping trip with a 10X12 model, and it was just right. It impressed me both with the reinforced attachment points and the quality of the fly as a whole. Since we did not see any rain on our trip, I can't comment on those qualities, but they did a great job in providing shade, which is why we got them. In the photo, you can see the setup we used that utilized extra parachute cord and a tent pole not included in the package.
There's nothing like a tarp to make things look good. The product is of a good size, does the job it is supposed to do. You may not be able to get ropes everywhere, but you can get them almost In the end, the stakes are quite small. There is no value to them at the beach. To stake the beach (screw style), we bought stakes specifically for the beach.
There is only one thing I would have liked to see included 12 ropes and 8 stakes rather than only 6. The reason for this is because you have 5 tie off points on one side and 2 on the other, so you have.
