What the heck?
The measurements on the ENO website should be available. I haven't measured it, I've just looked it up. There was about a foot of gap between the hammock and the rainfly on either end On each side, at least 1 foot must be present.
There are ties, but no stakes in it.

I was a bit concerned that I didn't have enough coverage to cover Having been using it for over three weeks, I've come back to it from I have had to endure a minimum of four downpours, half of those in rainy weather, and one night in ice. My hammock and sleeping bag have not been washed through any of these storms.
The only reason for my rating of 5/5 is because of this one factor. OK, so I guess. Yes, the sand bag is waterproof. I guess it's more durable than I thought. Yes, it is lightweight. I have had worse products but this is not really easy to repack. As far as this product is concerned, my number one complaint is that the ropes you tie it down with, especially the two that connect tree to tree, are too short, especially when compared with This is too short, and if you're using it on large trees, then it will not get the job done. I don't think it's worth the trouble. A small group of trees close together is fine. However, it appears to be a fairly decent product. Of course, you will need to be smart about where you hang If it came with rope, you could swap it for some paracord. However, for the money you shouldn't have to do such a thing.
In order to hang my hammock for the first time, I needed a basic hammock tarp to go with my ENO Double Nest. In addition to it having good reviews, it also had a backpacking configuration (which our Explorer Troop is considering) and I thought it would make sense for an ENO hammock to come with an ENO I was delighted when I saw this tarp. For the first time, I set it up by myself, it took about ten minutes. I was trying to figure it out as I went. As soon as I tied it up and tied into the stakes, I was able to get it done We should be able to move faster next time. The tarp kept the wind from blowing on me so I would not have noticed it was windy if I hadn't seen the tarp itself move. Our site overnight was a bit windy and we had a little rain. About five minutes were needed for it to pack up and come down. It's definitely a recommendation that I would give.
The bike packing I used was mine. When I got soaked in my hammock during a storm while sleeping in an inferior one last year, I had to settle for a cheaper one. In all honesty, I never opened it from its bag until I got to our camping site in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on a bike packing trip, after I upgraded to go with the rest of my ENO set-up. It was pretty windy and rainy when I slept through a storm at the lake and the set up in the picture kept me completely dry. Since I woke up at 2 a. m. , I was thinking. The only way I can stay dry is to pour water on myself. My alarm went off at 8 am. I awoke up at 8 am dry as a bone. I found the setup to be very easy and well worth the cost. As you can see from the story, you don't even need to seal the seams because it is already ready.
This was my go-to for my section hike of the Appalachian Trail. It did keep me dry, but I couldn't figure out how to make the system they used for tensioning the lines hold In my case, I switched to There are line hitches that can alleviate this problem, but for those who are not familiar with how to tie them, there could be a problem. It was true to the specifications that the actual weight was. The product will be of benefit to you if you are capable of tying your own knots. The only reason I bought it, however, was because I expected it to be a faster setup, even though I wound up tying knots regardless. With Tyvek, you would take the same length of time to set up, but you would also reap the benefits of a lighter material and a.
Having been used to only camping in tents, being out in the open makes me feel vulnerable. It was so comfortable to sleep under. I was very pleased with how well it held up in the rain When water hits it, it beads up. My life can be a little uncomfortable when putting wet things away, but sometimes it is necessary. Despite my hammock straps getting wet, nothing else was affected. Besides being super light, it has a battery life of about a year I carry my hammock system just about everywhere I go because it's so easy to pack! am even able to fit my MSR groundhog stakes in the bag with the rainfly (4 stakes are As it turns out, I would have been sleeping in water if I had been in my tent, which I took as a backup, but eventually only used as a storage space. It was set up solely to serve as a shade the second time. A cousin and a friend As I stacked our hammocks one over the other, we could see each other clearly Just so we could enjoy the rain and get out of the heat and humidity, I put the rain fly over us. As well, this was a great experience. It is black so it would seem that it would be hot under it, but it was awesome. It was a great purchase, I would definitely buy it again.
I must say that this product lives up to its claim. On this site, I see reviews where people complain that it doesn't cover their hammock as well as their gear. This product was not designed to cover a double nest, but it does a terrific job of covering one. You may also have to get a little creative about storing your gear underneath the hammock. There are larger tarps out there, right? It may just be an accident, but this function does just what it is meant to.
A couple weeks ago, this came in handy on a three-part email series Taking a backpacking trip for a day. It doesn't weigh as little as I expected, but it's still lightweight enough for what I need. You don't need to know anything about setting it up. believe I figured it out even though I'm a hammock novice. Set up is simplified thanks to the guylines and tensioners included. I was able to stay protected from the wind that was kicking up on our last night out, and I avoided the dew that fell on me. This tarp is way better than the housefly by Eno, which I had been given by a friend. You can easily set it up, and it's lighter.
