There are 17 tie off points in the 9 Ft model, including five There are metal loops on the four corners as well. The four corners of the book were connected by cordage. In two cases, a double line out was performed, and in two cases, an individual line out was performed.
16 ft. was the size we ordered. Quite a lot of space is occupied by it. The key to using it is how you set it up. We've used it a few times now. In addition to being very well made, the tarp is very light as well. There are plenty of options for setting up the system. In the beginning, we had to learn how to do it best a couple of times. Our experience has been excellent since we did so. This caused rain to run off of The setup you use will determine how much wind you get.
As I have a Kelty Noah Tarp 9, I am in need of repair. There are 38 loops between each other 39" in length. The corners of the loops are set in each side, so there are four loops on each side.

There is much more versatility with it than an awning option, along with a more affordable price tag. This allows us to set it up to suit the environment where we are campng at the time. I picked up a couple of poles that allow us to set it up with even greater flexibility. My favorite. I love this band.
The following is the pricing for the I was unable to achieve a taut pitch in any configuration without either using tarp poles or several tarp corners tied together in addition to the standard four corner tie-up system A tarp should have no need for so many tie-offs as it has manlines. A proper catenary cut tarp should have rolled seams, rather than flat rolled seams like the one pictured. Rain also mists through the tarp as it strikes it. It has the same problems with obtaining a taut pitch as the first version of this tarp, but it is more durable and waterproof compared to the second It takes some time and effort. A second tarp will be used over my hammock set as a second tarp It's okay, it's up to standard.
The cover I set it up for is an area to eat under cover while camping. In addition to using it as a backpacking shelter, it also doubled as a lite There is a 9x9 for me. During setup I noticed that it lacked tie points in the center of each side, which seems like a relatively basic requirement. It wasn't rain tested but I noticed it didn't have tie points in the center. It would not be a bad idea to create center tie points on at least two sides if not all four. One tie point in the center of the inside (bottom side) would be nice for hanging a lantern, as mentioned in other reviews. There was a lot of disappointment among the designers when it came to the tie-in There is no loop area at this point. According to the description, the main purpose of the article is to act as a hammock tarp, which I cannot use. There needs to be a statement of The idea of Kelty reading this is really appealing to me. On the plus side, the corner pockets for storing the guy lines are a great idea. My thought was that this product seemed to be the right mix of portability (nice and light weight) and strong and durable, at the same time, and that its price was great (for I've updated to If I wanted to set up a lightweight backpacking shelter, I might choose a tarp made of lighter It appears to be a 70 weight polyester fabric, where a 40 weight fabric would be in the neighborhood of 30% lighter.
Those tarps are nice. Only that as close to the middle as possible, there should be a loop for hanging a small lantern on the underside of the tarp. If you intend to use it in the street, make sure you have it set up once or twice in your backyard first. On a windy day, it's a challenge.
The poles are not necessary, but you should get them. It's a well made tarp, and I like the fact that the guy lines are included inside pockets. As we spend the majority of our camping weekends in Florida, we use it as a sunshade. It doesn't take long for the heavy condensation of the morning to dry, although I have yet to use it when it rains. With its 12 feet length, it is easy to cover the area of a picnic table plus excess space. There are many options for tie downs and configurations. It would be better if the poles came with it. can be used with any kind of pole, including tarp poles and hiking poles, but I chose kelty poles because they are sturdy and tall. Couldn't agree more that it should all be bundled!.
In spite of stormy weather, the Kelty stayed up and kept the table dry even when we had to retract the awning. No one could harm it because it was so strong! For our trip, we are very grateful that we purchased it. If we had used it, our awning would have been destroyed!.
In just a few minutes, I was able to set up a 16*16 tarp by myself, after a little practice. This shade can be provided in a large area while not blocking light in all directions. Stakes and plastic loop makers at the corners make it easier to rig the tent on flat ground with the included guylines, stakes, and plastic loop makers. The stakes we provide work well on firm ground, but if you're setting up on the beach, you should get some large drawstring bags filled with sand to create anchors. On the beach, I highly recommend getting some large drawstring bags filled with sand to use.
It's great to see that I used it as shelter in a downpour, and it kept me dry. It's light, but not so thin that it's frail. The NRS wings are as nice as it is full of convenient features. You'll love it if you get.
