The tent I purchased in 2016 when I lived in an arid region of the Caribbean four years previously. My camping tent was re-opened last night for the first time in years and I set it up in my locked-down back yard, which is on the ground (more like sand here at the equator) after years of storing it away. Assuming that the tent was relatively dust-free and in a nearly new state with no discoloration or age-induced damage, the tent was virtually in a new bought condition. Due to severe allergies and hay fever, I know this to be the case. My hand is sure it also rooted the weeds and swept the back porch clean of dust, as well as pulled out the weeds. The same goes for sand. As I emerged from the tent, I felt like I had just had a shower and all my clothes were folded. A highly recommended product
the waterproofing is excellent. It got wet while my husband took the deer hunting, so it was a good way to test how waterproof it was. The tent I ordered yesterday just arrived. Just had the tent here for a short time, so it was hard to decide the rating. My initial thought was to give it a 3 for average, which seemed fair.
