As I want to offer my two 52lb dogs with the ability to walk and camp with me, I wanted a bombproof, dogproof tent. There were 5 of us in this tent for 2 people, so it was spacious. There are three people and two dogs, two sleeping mats, a backpack, and three sleeping bags. There are 2 porches and 2 doors, which is wonderful. An elegant design that sheds off snow and rain with double walls, double seemed, and a sleek design. So far, I haven't been in the snow, but am confident that it will keep me warm and comfortable. My goal for February is to do a TSFE challenge when I am able to update.
Weather was 8°F, and it was very warm. In a tent with one body, it was around 60°F. Although they add a lot of weight to a hike in that's four miles long, they're The wind was between 15 and 20 miles per hour It stayed put even when the wind gusted to 30 mph. A tarp serves as a floor protector in my tent, and I find it very useful. It was approximately 85 degrees in the tent at 20 degrees with the sun. The tent was well vented so the temperature was maintained. Condensation is not a problem.
