Questions & Answers

It would be nice if someone could post a video of the set up and highlights on You-Tube It is tube. Thanks a lot! Are you there?

The tent was featured in YouTube videos from July and August including how to set it up.

Would it be possible to set it up with just one person?

Setup is the easiest tent I've ever experienced. It take only a few minutes for one person to set this up I will need 5 minutes to complete. Simple and easy to understand

Do you know where I can purchase a tent footprint for this one?

My dad is getting a tent this Father's Day, and I was wondering the same thing. Core does sell one on its site, but it is out of stock, and I have yet to see it on Amazon. the item will be back in stock in September. 6) It is 13' 6" long and 8' 6" wide. The tent floor should be slightly larger than the tarps (which makes sense. You may be able to buy a tarp of approximately the same size and fold or cut it, which is what I plan on doing. There was another answer to the question - I Directly from Core as far as I can tell It suggests a size of 14' x 9' for the tent and then suggests a footprint that is slightly larger. It is advisable to make the ground tarp smaller than the tent floor. your tent's bottom, as larger tarps are merely bathtubs for your tent, which over time can produce more mold/mildew, etc. (And as noted above, too large tarps are harder to stake down too. The size of this one is If you responded to the question, I think maybe It appears that the company sent it The expert may have been some junior social media personnel, but he didn't really check with the specialists or ask. You can use what THEY themselves sell as a footprint as a guide (again, look at what THEY themselves sell as the footprint).

How does the tent compare to Coleman tents? Do they come with a lifetime warranty?

Honestly, I am not sure if it comes with a warranty but so far, it has lasted longer than any of my Coleman or Ozark Trails It has stood up to at least a half dozen good sized storms in this tent, and there is no leak anywhere. We go camping a lot, and I mean a lot and we brought this tent with us pretty much everywhere. The last tent I had was a Coleman, and it leaked around the seams and would have water all over the corners by the end of the summer. One of my friends has this same tent and has nothing but positive things to say about

The seams of the garment were torn
3/5

The tent we purchased back in June wasn't used for the first time until the end of July, and we've received no response from customer service. We were blown away by it on our first use and in love with it! I liked how big it was, how sturdy it was, and how affordable it was Served as a protective barrier against rain. Keeping a careful eye on all the poles, we packed them up nicely and dried them nicely. We went back to using it in August after everything had been taken care of. The front part was fine when it was taken out, but when we stalked the back, the back part However, there was no tension on the fabric or surrounding area, so I thought it might have been us. My shirt just tore right at the seam and went out so much that I didn't think I was going to be able to Though it was a bad thing, we would get in touch with the company and see what could be done to resolve it. In the course of e-mailing customer service four times, I did not get a response. I tried calling after not getting a reply to my email and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be buying a tent and canopy from this company next camping season. We have one of their chairs and planned to buy one of their chairs next camping season, but I'm not sure I will Because I was impressed with how great the customer service was from this company, we purchased our first instant tent from them. My dear, I wouldn't buy this tent again given that it was very expensive and didn't even last for two camping trips. I couldn't even contact the company for a refund despite trying my best. Here's an update A response from the company or customer service did not materialize. We opted to get a Coleman this year in place of the previously mentioned model. The service has been excellent and there have been no issues. I would never shop with.

This tent is wonderful! The only thing that keeps it from being perfect
4/5

My habit is not to review too many purchases, but since I spent about 6 hours researching and buying 2 other tents before I settled on this one, I hope I can help more people with their shopping. The tent must hold all of our stuff when camping (there are only four of us, but we usually bring a lot of stuff) and keep it dry when the temperature changes from warm to cool in the evening and overnight. That way we will not suffer condensation ruining our My experience with this tent so far has been good, with the ability to vent the warm, damp air out and keep things dry inside. I searched high and low for additional pictures online, but I couldn't find any. To include some in this review, I will mention a few. The tent earned four stars from me due to a couple of factors. The first thing you'll notice is that it goes up and down easily! It will take about 60 seconds to go up and 60 seconds to go down, just like they say. There is no doubt that the process takes more time if you lay down a tarp first, and then there is the rain fly to consider but from past experiences I think this works extremely well. When the tent is up, I find it a little odd that the two center posts don't touch the ground. Maybe this will change once it has been In any event, it's not a big deal if it doesn't. Our tent was rained on the first time we used it. You could also feel the My first experience with an "instant tent" had me a little hesitant, but the tent ended up holding up just fine. Despite the fact that it was not a monsoon, I felt that there wasn't going to be an issue. thing I dislike most about modern-day tents is the zippers in the doors. It's not a good idea to have 2 zippers on a door intersect on the bottom of the tent I am not sure who thought that was a good idea. This opens up a substantial hole at the bottom, not to mention a swarm of insects and snakes could find their way inside. As with all tents, the door has three zippers that meet in the center, and the tent is no different. There are two flaps on top of the tent that Velcro together (the bottom is not attached to the tent), and a Velcro closure at the bottom. It was probably less than a tablespoon of water, but it was the only spot where moisture from leaks caused water to seep into the tent. With the side door zipper, you can position the zippers higher because it is a "D" style door. The two sides of the door didn't bother me. Actually, it was kind of nice to have a place for the zippers to rest, so in the dark we always knew where they were! The absence of an awning or vestibule means that if you enter or leave the tent in the rain, you will get wet. This was the case for us when we entered from the side door (ok maybe not an awning, because many collapsed In case anything should happen, I'll pack an extra "door mat" for the inside next time. Despite the fact that the rain fly can be adjusted so it remains taut to the top of the tent, I like how it is adjustable. The adjusters are still in one piece, but time will tell if they do! In addition, the windows were another aspect I was a bit concerned about. On the top of the front door windows as well as the window next to the front door, there is no zip. The vents remain open, which may allow for better ventilation, but it seems strange to me. There was no water coming from the windows so it should not be an issue soon (and it will be harsh weather). All the windows do not open all the way, and there is no tie-up, but you can tuck the excess material in front of your face to keep it from being in the way while in bed. It seems pretty smart that there aren't zippers at the edges of the windows (about an inch and a half, the width of the grey stripe) because there is no rain fly covering the windows (to me, that makes sense). Water will not be a problem coming through the vents on either side of the "back" of the tent, since they are low enough to the ground. Stakes must be used to anchor the vent flaps to the ground, since they are also unable to be attached to the tent. We don't know how they will fare in severe weather, but we will see. Again, it is very easy to pitch and seems to be solidly built. We can probably live with a few minor imperfections in the tent because it has so many great features! There is a plan to seal the tent so that I know it is watertight. Thanks for reading my tent review, I hope this can be useful to others and hope to use it for many years to come.

There is no need to use profanities when pitching this tent
5/5

The tent is just what you need. All by myself it went up in less than 90 seconds. Poles are already attached to the box, so all you have to do is take the box out and pull it Additionally, he tossed it back into the bag without exerting any effort or Car camping has never been easier thanks to this.

It's an easy tent for the whole family to put up, and it has many features
5/5

We used this tent while camping recently and it made our trip a lot of fun. My two young children (3 and 2) and I have just started taking them on camping trips. Despite its size, this tent provided enough room for our kids - Friendliness and comfort are the hallmarks of this glamping trip near the California coast. It has been two years since the last update In the midway point of the five-hour car trip, Mom took the kids to the bathroom, and in the fifth During the time they were gone, I was able to set up this tent completely on my own. It looked like this (I staked down a 16 mil thick, 16' x 10' tarp as a footprint and anchor I could fit two cots, an extra large duffle bag, and a very large queen-size blow up sleeper in the tent I have plenty of room for my mattress! In light of all the great pictures that have been posted, I thought I would share a slight modification I recently made to the tent. With the entire top of the tent composed of mesh, the tent did get a little chilly at night due to the cool ocean breeze (temperatures around 45 degrees Fahrenheit). The most important factor in staying warm is a properly rated sleeping bag, but I found that a simple addition of two mylar-style liners could provide me with additional warmth It would be nice to add tarps to the tent for improved heat retention. Both of the 60" x 84" all-weather rugs I purchased are in good condition A weatherproof space blanket with grommets on each corner (available on Amazon for approximately $18 each), a zip-off rain cover Then I tied a small carabiner to each corner (also purchased on Amazon, $13 for 10 carabiners), and placed one blanket over each cabin side. For under $30, I had a great layer of insulation that's lightweight and serves as protection from the cold. The tent is covered with a reflective surface. (In addition, as the rain flap is underneath it does not dramatically alter the look of the tent when it is fully set up). The blankets, being so thin, did not interfere with installing the tent back into its case. I kept them installed on the tent after packing it up, and there were no issues with fitting it back in. This was a great addition to our family camping equipment collection, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in camping.
