Questions & Answers

What is the smell of this product? Is it plastic?

This is not my first time and I already own two. The plastic smell doesn't come from either of them. I enjoyed how comfortable and supportive it was.

Where can you find the cleaning instructions?

I regret to inform you that the pillow cannot be washed. If you would like to clean the surface, please use a damp towel. If you are packing the pillow into an enclosed storage bag, please ensure that it is completely dry.

I noticed that two out of four of my four had trouble holding air after a few This product has a problem. What is it?

Your inflate/deflate valve seems to be in good working order. Upon checking that everything is fine, inflate the pillow and hold it underwater in a tub until a leak is found. Neither 1 nor 2 applies
5/5

This is 75oz. The weight in the advertisement above may not be accurate. It looks like there was a high vacuum involved in that weight. The most I can do with mine is to squish it down, but after the first use, it's still Approximately 5 oz. Although it didn't add any new air when I took off the cover to weigh it, it unrolled a bit as I took off the cover. As far as I know, the valve is This should be no more than 4oz. You don't have to Remove the elastic strap (0. 2 oz) and set the weight at 2 oz. It's 2 ounces). Neither of these things are necessary for me because my sleeping bag has a "rim" at the top that holds the pillow in place just fine, and I can store my pillow in my bag when I roll it up. Therefore, I have 3 kilograms of carry weight left. Approximately 15 oz. In order to understand the misleading two, you should be able to look past them. I would say that's a pretty good weight for a pillow, 75 ounces. There are two great things about this pillow it is very comfortable, and it has a very good I like this sleeping pad a lot better than mine! The pump has a pushbutton that you can lock open or shut for inflating or deflating the air, and if you tap it briefly, it lets out a small amount of air so the firmness can be adjusted. It was really comfortable for me to sleep on.

Trekology Aluft Comfort 2 (TAC) is comparable to similar products at a cheaper price
4/5

has a product that is very similar to the Sea2Summit (S2S) Aeros Ultralight Large pillow, however it differs in some significant ways A great value is the lower price of less than $20 for TAC compared to the $40+ for
It is designed In terms of sleeping surfaces, both pillows are Similar to microfleece, this fabric is soft and brushed. As a result of an attached strap and beaded dots on the back, the TAC is slip resistant and can be attached to headrests or sleeping mats. TAC and S2S pillows are curved along the edge to center your cervical spine across your shoulders and along the middle to offer a slight dip in the middle for comfort for people who sleep on their side or back.

Besides being a valve, the S2S valve also acts as a locking mechanism for their sleeping mats. That means you would have to stay with that brand to be able to get the locking mechanism to work. Currently, S2S has a limited selection of color options and TAC has five at the time we reviewed it. You should consider that if that matters. In both cases, you get drawstring bags, but the TAC bag has a strap which makes it more convenient for you. The S2S drawstring is anchored, so trying to undo it with one hand is more difficult.
Really, S2S excels in only one design spec the two part valve system (pictured), which features a nub to allow the user to adjust the firmness of the pillow and a second open valve to allow total deflation. There is a click-through feature in the TAC version There is a slit on this valve that can slightly deflate the pillow, BUT being blown up by my TAC made me sound like I was calling turkeys There is no joke here. There's no sound coming from the S2S. A few specifics 16x12X4 inches are inflated in the TAC, while 17 are inflated in the S2S. Three times twelve. A 6x5 matrix. There is a noticeable similarity between 5 and 6. I can't tell if there is much of a difference in size visually once they are inflated, and I don't suspect they make much difference in terms of their ability to fit inside a There is a TAC of 3 for weight. There are 4 oz in both sizes, and 2 oz in S2S. This is the 5th day of the week As a result of the valve weight, this may be the case. It seems likely that the S2S and the TAC are both built with bonded edges and bonded valve seals that are similar in width, meaning that both are likely to be durable. The key takeaway It's time to go back to the Trekology Aluft and return the SeaToSummit Aeros Pillow. While the TAC valve does cause an inconvenience, it is not significant enough to justify a price difference in spite of the inconvenience My local price is close to $25. The brushed fabric of the pillow from S2S was nicer than the pillow from Trekology, but the Trekology pillow was cooler. Once I make a few trips, I will update the review. As of 10/04/2020, the "turkey call" sound in the Trek pillow gradually improved. Nonetheless, inflating the pillow too quickly still makes quite a ruckus. However, I would pick the TAC over the S2S for this price point, even if the nubs on the back didn't make gripping as comfortable as it was hoped. We've taken a few trips and even slept in the car while an accidental spill of large amount of coffee has been easily wiped up.

It is a comfortable and lightweight sleeping pad great for ultralight campers who require good neck support
5/5

Since my job takes me to unimproved areas, I often sleep on cots, in tents, My younger self used to stuff other clothes in my jacket or roll up my jacket for a I have changed my needs as I grow older, and my favorite type of support is neck support while The company I work for already forces me to drag a lot of equipment out into the woods, then I have to sleep there, so adding one more bulky item that can get wet/damp would be a hassle It is not a welcome piece of gear if it is dewy or heavier. Besides being compact and waterproof, it is very comfortable also. It rolls up small and is very easy to carry. I am cradled in- My neck is well supported on this mattress, which has a design that ensures minimal movement at night.

There is no such thing as a bad pillow
5/5

Perfection in a pillow! A reasonable pillow is critical to me when I am getting ready for my 1st backpacking trip. I tried about 5 different types, including the one I tried first. In the past couple of months, I have tried 0 versions of this, and all of them have It was something I thought I should try before just bringing my home pillow with me on my trip. There is a lot to like I like the way it feels on the face much better. Feels more comfortable than sleeping in a balloon because it is more flexible. In addition, it's a little thicker and bigger. I have no idea how durable this thing will be, but we will see in time. Here is a list of great things A wonderful feature of the strap is that it is removable. With the strap, I can keep the pillow firmly in place while I put a small dry bag of clothes under My head gets exactly the right level of height and insulation under the cover. Plus, when it's rolled back up, the strap keeps it snugly in place.

Overall, this is a fantastic product and definitely improved over its predecessor. Now that I no longer need pillows, my problem is solved.

This is the second one I'm going to buy
5/5

It took 3 backpacking pillows to fill my bag. The one I bought was just over 30 dollars, and the other was a standard size Sea To Summit aeros premium. Despite the fact that the Sea to Summit is great, I would recommend this one because it is bigger, has a strap, and feels almost as nice, and the current introductory price is less than half of what the Sea to Summit costs.

It's a great pillow for the price, so I'd recommend it
5/5

It folds up to about the size of a baseball (slightly smaller) and it's comfortable as you can inflate it as you like. Although there is a slight downside in the feel of the surface that contacts your face, but overall, it is a great product It's best to use a camp towel or shirt. For a good honest product, a good honest price can be had.

I consider it to be one of the best camping pillows I've used
5/5

The clothes I used to pack in a stuff sack were my only storage method. When I got to the point where a single good night's sleep was worth the price of one of the bigger-ticket items in my life, I did not hesitate to buy one. It was time to name those camping pillows, and that puppy was uprooted from Deflation is easy as well as inflation. This is as good as the old system, and half the price. It is small and can be carried anywhere Although it's not quite as small as some, it's small enough to fit into practically any bag (small enough to fit into an airline bottle of wine for instance). You're doing a great job.
