There is going to be a lot to say in this I took an Amtrack train from CA to IL that took 28 hours to get there and 28 hours to get I was nervous because I was sitting in business class and there was no room for me to sleep. A blanket and a travel pillow were essential so that I could stay cozy while I traveled. I was blown away by the solidity of this thing when it was taken out of the bag. I'm so sorry. It was the only one I could find as I didn't have time to look for another one. I would like to thank the ladies for coming Ladies and gentlemen. Since I now sleep with this pillow every night, I don't sleep with another pillow. On the train, I used it for my lower back, my butt, as a leg prop, for my iPad, to lean on the window, and to separate me from that awful person next to me for three hours. There is no question that this pillow saved my life. *I also suffer from vertigo, so I have like a hundred pillows propping me up all the time at home. I now have a little mountain of pillows in the shape of this little pillow. This piece of technology saved me yet again when I went on vacation in the and brought my pillow along. I have updated It has made me even more in love with it since I took it camping. As long as I rolled it up and packed it in a compression sack with my top quilt, I was perfectly comfortable in my hammock in the 60s and in a shelter on the Appalachian trail in the 90s (F). The weight is very well worth it. I'm bumping it up from a 4 to a 5. It has no chance at being as light as a sea to summit pillow or any other inflatable camp pillow or of packing down as small. That being said, it is strangely For the added comfort of carrying more weight, I am happy to do so. In the past, I've used clothing and dry bags filled with clothes, but the material would either cause me to side sleep or get much too hot. When it was 90 percent humidity and the temperature was 70 degrees, this fabric felt cool against my skin. The gear is packed in a compression dry bag with my sleep system to make it as compact as possible.

I bought two of them - one for my head and one for my neck. The first is for a night's sleep for the OTR Team Driving Team, and the second is for camping. Even so, I did have a bit of stress in my neck, which I minimized by rolling on my side between stops when the vehicle was not moving, which I will admit is somewhat common when moving or even slightly bouncing while sleeping (which is how it is I, however, noticed when I slept on the camping cot (6" Mattress), I did not have as much comfort from the pillow. It collapsed and became very hard and uncomfortable, leaving me with a tight neck in the morning unless I again slept on my side. It does not provide firm support depending on your sleeping position, so what others have said isn't entirely false. The pillow does not seem to offer the best quality, but honestly I would probably look for a different one for camping, yet it is still a decent size for the semi, and it helps with rough roads. I'm not sure how I feel about that. There's just so much of it on there. I'd say the bag is indeed too wide for such a compact and travel-oriented bag. In addition, this needs a very large bag, like a 32" (due to the side pockets and so on) or similar size bag so that this can be put inside. Perhaps if you used the compression thingy it comes with, and sat on the cylinder and compressed it would you be able to make it smaller (I am just too lazy to always stuff the compression thingy to keep it compact).
