This pillow had the potential to be my favorite! Despite how much I love my Nemo Fillo, the original is still my favorite! As long as it packs down small, it has a huge advantage. It inflates quickly, as you might expect. Since I don't remember if the cover can be removed for washing, I'm not sure if it does. It would be much more of a con if that was the case. Besides sleeping on drool stains, who likes the smell of dirty hair or sleeping on dirty sweat? (Not that I do). There was something about this highly packable pillow that wasn't comfortable for me, so I returned it. like I was trying to go to sleep as my head rested on a water blue pillow, bouncing back and forth, trying to find a comfortable position, and rocking back and forth as I heard sounds from the pillow. It is possible to find other inflatable pillows for much less money that still pack down well and are much more durable. The one I own belongs to me. Several of our family members went to the BWCA last week. That's the only luxury item I brought with me. You're looking at Nemo Fillo, the first! In comparison to my down alternative pillow at home, it is almost as comfortable as this one. The air is quiet, and the unit's valve is easy to use to control the amount of air it contains.
Pillow is great for backpacking and packs up small when not in use. There's plenty of room to sleep on this mattress, but it does feel a bit like sleeping on a small In order to prevent this "balloon" effect (backpackers know what I mean) in lighter sleeping pads, I carry a heavier foam-based sleeping pad, but I find a pillow is okay. The overall experience was not bad. It fit into the clamshell Nemo sleeping bag (I used the Nemo Riff 30) perfectly!.
Having a comfy pillow is nice. The weight is light. However, there are two issues I have In the first place, it is hard to cram it into the bag attached to it. There is no need for further changes in material width. It would be great if there were just a few more millimeters. Secondly, the fabric that surrounds the air bladder makes a squeaking sound when it rubs against the bladder. On a recent camping trip, I discovered this when I was sharing space with two other campers and trying to sleep quietly, only to discover that the pillow "squeaked" every time I moved A bit more inflation and a bit of deflation were tried. Both of which did nothing to help.
Although I did not realize the stuff sack was a part of the pillow when I purchased it, it is an extremely useful feature when you are I can't think of the number of times I have lost track of other small things sacks after the sun goes down, and then had to hunt them down the next day. It has a nice and soft side, similar to Terry cloth, so it's a great summer tee. I ordered one for my son for Philmont, and he loved it. It's lightweight and easy to assemble.
It was a great air pillow that I really hoped would meet my expectations. My first experience with one and I believe it'll be my last. To start with, I'm very pleased. There is no need to worry about the pillow cover scratching your face or tearing up your sheets. A hand grenade-sized pillow compresses to fit in a pocket. There's a bad side. It was impossible for me to get comfortable, regardless of what I did. During the night, I felt as if I was sleeping on a balloon or one of the air packs Amazon uses to ship your items. My pillow was with me when I was activated to the military in Washington DC. As a result, I had a pain in my neck and was not able to sleep well.
This pillow comes highly recommended, but it did not live up to my expectations. The feel was that of a balloon, and the price was not worth it.
It seems to be of good quality, so I hope it stands the test of time. The results so far have been positive!.
I had a hard time figuring it out at first. Having it inflated makes it much more effective. The fact that I can use it anywhere in the world makes it great for travelling and backpacking.
