Questions & Answers

How has it actually worked for you? Are you just trying it out?

I say yes. You can do it. It works. The following conditions must be met The weather will be 50F, windy, 2PM CST very early in April (the sun will almost be at its zenith - expect some cloud cover) *br>Remember, there are several key factors you need to work on I'll be patient while waiting, then waiting some more Cotton ball fluffed and flattened (fibers very visible), fatwood dust and shavings, crushed leaves on a bed of dry leaves, stems, and twigs torn by toothpicks. 3 *br > Keeping the hand steady will help you You need to be more patient. I were focusing the sun on a juncture of cotton, branches, As I recall, the breezy conditions at that moment were actually helping rather than hindering the combustion. Don't know what character to use The cloth, which is another recommended, traditional starting ember, can be found at most craft stores The "birds nest" is ignited with a lens, then gently blown to flame with a non-aerosol blower. I think that this does work, it just takes more patience and perseverance than a more traditional glass lens plus the right type of There are too many folks who might try to ignite a leaf or a sheet of paper There will be no such thing

I like the way these lenses work
5/5

They don't have much to offer. It took so long to start a char cloth on fire that it took about 16 seconds. The dark birch took 45 seconds to dry. Their light weight and ease of use make them a great option. Since they are thin plastic, they may not be able to withstand much abuse, but they shouldn't have NOTE (
Try not to use solar ignition on light colored tinder, as it will take a long time to burn This is a mistake beginner photographers often make and blame the lens for. It is necessary to use dark colors that absorb.

Those are the things you can never get enough of! These are things you can never have enough of Take them out of the medicine kit to see that odd spot, and put them in the fire kit to create a hot spot, and put them in your wallet to read the menu at the restaurant in the dim light

This isn't going to start a fire
3/5

If you just want a magnifying glass, then it is ok The situation is not great Increasing the size of an image will increase its quality. Despite the fact that it is light in weight, it can fit into a Fire-starters in a nutshell are beyond the scope of this article It is exaggerated. There is not enough focusing power in the Fresnel Lens to do the job It has been my experience that a magnifying glass can start fires on many occasions.
Use a magnifying glass if you want to start a fire.

This is the second time I have purchased I use this method all the time
5/5

One is on my desk at my work, one is at home and one is in the Since I got it for the magnifier, that's why I got it. The magnifier is a regular part of my life. Lastly, I carry one in my EDC bag in case I need to start a fire in an emergency. BTW, your best chances of getting a fire started is to have a bright sun next to you. It is harder to work out when it is overcast or cloudy.

But it only works for a limited time
3/5

The sun must shine for a long period of time without any clouds covering it. This technique does work, but the conditions outside must be pretty pristine. If the weather is clear, it takes no time at all to get a hemp-derived hemp oil It is a good idea to use wick, shredded tinder, or other fire starting materials.

The purchase turned out to be a good one
5/5

The quality of this item cannot be determined until it is received - one of those online purchases you never know until you receive it My reaction to the result has been positive My concern about how thin she was did not come true. Obviously this is one of those situations where you need 1 or 2 of the item but end up with more than needed because it is a small item.

What I ordered was not what I received! Put your lens in a bag
3/5

In the hopes of using the lenses as stocking stuffers for my brothers and dad, I looked forward to giving them. I am impressed by the quality of the mirror. What I ordered is not the one I received.

I found the product to be excellent, priced well, and it performs well
5/5

The product is great, but I hope I do not need to use it for a fire. But it fits in my wallet and I know I can use it on dry tinder to start a fire during The magnifier is very small, but it works just as described. And you get five of them. A family member was already the recipient of one.
