I like that it came with two blankets, because we'll use one upstairs and the other downstairs. Two hooks, as well as two pairs of gloves, are included in the package. We haven't had to use it yet (thankfully), but having it in the house gives me peace of mind in the event of a minor fire.
If there's a flash fire in the kitchen, or if an engine is needed on the trail, this is very inexpensive insurance. Just make sure they're close by but out of the way of any potential fires.
Not bad, but I wish they had included better fire-resistant gloves.
law. A fire extinguisher should be in every home, but this is a new addition to the list of home safety items. Personally, I'd read the instructions on a fire extinguisher before using it, but this blanket should be simple to use right out of the box. This is an outstanding product.
I bought it for camping and to have on hand in the RV as a safety item. The gloves and blanket appear to be of excellent quality. I'm hoping I won't have to put it to the test! In every other way, they match the advertised specifications.
This two-piece fire blanket set arrived in perfect condition! You get exactly what you see! I would strongly suggest it. At least one of these, as well as a fire extinguisher, should be kept in every home. The greater the number, the better.
This is the first time I've used this product. I'm hoping I won't have to do so. For the sake of fire safety. It appears to be more user-friendly than a fire extinguisher.
During our white elephant gift exchange in December, the recipient of this gift "borrowed" it from someone else. They thought it was a really cool present. Something they'd never consider purchasing on their own.
