It's more like 1600mah than 2000mah! This battery is thinner and lighter than the original 1800mah battery included with the FT-1000

70dr. I tested this battery several times and it always dies faster than the original 1800mah battery. It's not worth the same price as a spare 1800mAh battery. That's why I bought it, hoping to get a little more life out of it than the 1800. It's not worth the money, and it's clear that the other people who ordered this battery didn't compare it to the 1800mah battery. I'll send it back.

It's fantastic! This battery performs exactly as expected after properly establishing charge capacity (5 charge/drain cycles), with slightly longer battery life than the original Yaesu battery

It's worth noting that the initial charge cycle only provided about an hour of power, but after five cycles, as recommended by the manufacturer, it now provides 10-hours of power. Under normal conditions, the battery can last up to 12 hours.

9 volts is ideal, but 8 volts is preferable. FT-Yaesu is one of my Yaesu models. The battery in the 70DR is 1800 mAh. The capacity of this battery is 2000 milliampere-hours (mAh). I had let the old battery get as low as 7V before charging it, but it only went up to 8. Instead of the like-new 8, the voltage is reduced to 3V. 4 volts. br>br>I've charged the new unit to full capacity so far. According to the voltmeter on the radio, the voltage is 4V.

Replacement battery at a good price

I purchased a pre-owned FT-100. When you tried transmitting off the charger, the battery was completely dead, it wouldn't hold a charge, and it displayed a low battery indicator. This battery fits perfectly and allows me to listen to the radio for a much longer period of time. If you need a replacement or a backup battery for your FT-1000, this is a great option.

In comparison to the original, this version has a longer run time

The 1800mAh original one never gave me a good runtime. I think I listened for about 8 hours. br>br>I listened to this for around 12 hours. The size of the plastic is identical to that of the original. Looks like the same injection mold was used. br>br>So far, it appears to be a viable substitute.

This is a genuine Yaesu SBR-100 battery. 24LI was exactly what I was looking for, and it was an OEM spare for my Ft- 70DR. The fit, operation, and appearance were all exactly what I had hoped for. I haven't had the opportunity to put this cell to the test yet, but I don't anticipate any problems.
