Honestly, I have no time for this headlamp because the plastic quality is lacking. There must be an enormous profit margin on this product. Because it's so thin, it will crack if it bumps against a water bottle in your backpack. It is very important that my headlamps have a solid yet highly rugged outer casing that can withstand getting thrown The problem isn't here.

I find the quality of this to be appalling, especially when I compare it with my other Petzl headlamps that have Plastic of this quality has a cheap feel to it and is A seam closes too tightly near the battery compartment - there are holes there. There is no way to keep water or humidity out! There are many rugged products out there, but this is not one of them. Aside from being cheaper, the headband material also feels flimsy and easy to sew. It isn't horrible, but it does cost more than I have come to expect from Petzl - having said that, it isn't horrible, either - but it's definitely overpriced. It has been years since I dropped my other two headlamps on the ground without damage. They have been dropped many times without issue. In my backpack, there are a lot of things I could bump against or drop, including this one. It seems like this one would be easily cracked if I dropped it or bumped it against something. It is fine as a light, but I cannot imagine it will last long in a plastic enclosure of this price. I am not pleased with this. The $20 one is the way to go.

There's something I like about As far as brands are concerned, Petschl seems to be a good bet. They used to be on the desks of my colleagues long ago, and they liked For how small it is, it gets extremely bright. You can also choose from three different brightness levels for those times you need less light. The headlamp is something I would recommend to others in the market for one. However, I would recommend going with the quality and then doing without the cheaper options. In addition to my delivery being on time, my packaging also arrived in good condition. My only complaint is that there were none.

I was trying to replace a Petzl Tactikka XP I had from the Marine Corps, which was ruined by corrosion. The quality of this item is nowhere near as high as that of the previous model. material is much better than the XP, however the shell was not nearly as waterproof as the XP (there was actually a gasket around the battery housing), so that was very As long as it's not waterproofed better, I'm not sure how useful it would be for hunting or fishing. My biggest problem is the lack of better waterproofing and a durable housing. I love the lighting, and the batteries last forever, but the lack of better waterproofing is my biggest complaint.
