The extra space isn't very large.
There is a lot of consistency in headlamp design since many of the lamps look similar.
There is no problem fitting the headlight strap in the case with the light.
Honestly, I think it would work well, but you would have to undzip it to turn it on and off, which is no big deal because it diffuses the light and makes it easy to use as a

I first began to think about it when I saw it and I had it on my wish list for several months. A few weeks ago, I was able to purchase it and now I can honestly say that I love it for what it does. My petzl has a light-weight body that reduces weight, but I felt that it would not be protected well with my other small gear since it rattles around. A diffused light would be a welcome addition to my kit without the need to buy a separate light, and this would be a matter of more weight, space, and cost. Further, I like good, long lasting gear and am willing to pay for it if it has to be good. You are now in A compromise must be made if we want to add more capabilities to a system. It results in added weight, cost, and space. I found the NOCTILIGHT to be a reasonably priced piece of gear that did not add much weight, gave comfortable level of protection to my headlamp, defuses light effectively, did not add much weight, took up little extra room, and is good gear that costs very little. Another thing to consider is that the zipper is heavy duty, and the cord attached to the hook is strong enough to return to its original state, which in my experience means the cord will retain its elasticity over time.
My sole reason for purchasing this was that Petzl does not list any other cases for that particular In addition to the PETZL ACTIK Headlamp Case, I own a Black Diamond TCP. PETZL REACTIK+ was also able to fit in that case. Rather than switching the two, I actually turned them around. Three AAA batteries and the PETZL REACTIK+ are now stored in the ACTIK case. Currently, there is a PETZL ACTIK in this case. This NOCTILIGHT case includes an on/off switch for the ACTIK lamps that fits perfectly in the window. In fact, this headlamp is better than the REACTIK+. Both sizes are exactly the same. Although I am not a fan of this case because it feels more flimsy than the ACTIK case, it may help protect my phone if I drop it or keep it Considering that I use Black Diamond Apollo for my hammock and tent, it's unlikely I'd use this case for a hanging light, but I decided to keep it anyway. In the absence of the two lamps and cases, I'd offer this up and replace it with the ACTIK case. Thank you for your time. I hope this.
It was purchased as a protector for my 350 lumen head lamp and to replace my micro-smartphone In both instances, the case worked as expected. I was impressed by the quality of the zipper and how it looked strong enough to be used repeatedly. I like the fact that the case has a marked on-and-off switch on the lens so that it matches the one on my Petzl tactical headlamp exactly. While walking my dog at night, I use this app every day. My usual procedure is to take the headlamp out of the case, use it, and put it back in the case when I'm The name of this cat leash is "Jax". I can find it fast and easy in the darkness just by grabbing the case and switching on the headlamp. For each of the household headlamps in the coming months, I plan to purchase a case. In the event of Hurricane Dorian, I will bring the case with me, since I live in the east coast, which is currently undergoing evacuations.
If you don't want to wear it, you can store your headlamp in Put the headlamp in your tent, climb inside and fold up the elastic headband, then put the headlamp in the case face upward - after you have been out in the dark for a little while. You can use it as a lantern when it turns into one! In addition to turning it on/off through the plastic dome, you can zip up the case with the headlamp properly placed in it and then zip it up. I like it!.
Even though I find petzl lights less than ideal for outdoor use because they are not water resistant. Now that I own four, I am happy. We have 3 models to choose from. Those are 2 of the LEDs I picked up for my radio reactive This is easier to operate in the case than the old one with the whistle. I find it difficult to turn on the new brighter model because it will roll forward as it tries Despite the length of the case, it appears to be well thought out, and the lantern option seems to work great if I can complete the installation. Apparently, the little hook does not like to wrap very well around the shock cord. It does not fit on the blind support rods I have. Those who hunt. There is a possibility that you will have to tape the zipper pull. The loud noise it makes when it slaps the case is not too pleasant. For easy access, keep that in mind if you plan to add a small caribeaner to the little ring. The price of these things could be.
This is the first time I have used MFR. We have always found Petzl lights to be brightest and last longer! Overall this great accessory light is a fantastic product, I use it nightly as a nightstand light and would buy it again for its function, but my only complaint is the on off button on the cases could be redesigned so it works more precisely. it's just a matter of getting used to it over time, as I have noticed that it's somewhat difficult to use as it seems to be more pressure-sensitive than I like, but otherwise, it's great! I love how compact it is for an extra light weight light. As long as I have batteries and a 200 lumen Tikka attached to it, it stays on my nightstand all the time. It is my pleasure to work with.
Considering that I am not a camper and do not need a light weight bag It is a lantern tent, but it is in a case that I love. The light I use most is this one Light up the My daily routine involves using it almost every day. A good flashlight is handy for almost everything and the light is bright enough not to burden your eyesight. A carrying case is an excellent way to keep the headlight strap in place. It is easy to store because it is self-contained. The advantage for me is that, when the power goes out (which it always does where I live at least a few times a year), I always have a back-up plan in case I need it A lantern that is held in the hand. The hit PETZL NOCTILIGHT is well-made, easy to use, and I highly recommend it.
All you need to do is unzip this and plug your headlamp into it, and you're good to go. This is a simple and ingenious solution! used to go through several LED globes that ate AAA batteries in no time. They were disposable junk when compared with this one. Those who already own Petzl products should recommend them to any hiker or camper who wants to buy.
