The IR marker can be used for LARPing in a realistic way

Not expecting this to work so well, I was surprised. My goal was to find an IR/VIS marker for my bump helmet, and I don't need the features of the Helistar or Manta. The Prism is the perfect solution. (As well as the needs of most of its purchasers, since I do not believe most people need to communicate with aircraft via their helmet light)

The button is easy to access, and learning the modes and activating The compact size of this device is a major The problem with my I now look at the 2000 that I had before like it's nothing. There is Velcro backing and cable routing facilities built in, which make it so versatile.

Though it's a little too easy to take off of that mount, the light hasn't fallen out and such. I decided to increase friction by adding some electrical tape to the interface in case it made any difference. This is likely to be a one-time purchase for me. I love how simple this piece of kit is, yet how versatile it is!.

It is amazing to see the light. Some of these IR strobe lights are quite expensive, and they do not perform as well as they charge. You will be shocked by this light, however. The beam is extremely bright when either the GREEN or IR settings are selected. With NVGs, the IR strobe can be clearly seen at over 100 yards. A true bonus is the light's functionality, as it comes with a mounting system for molle and / or Velcro. Once I saw this, I purchased two more straight away, and a few friends purchased them as well. My next order may be to place another one after I complete this review.

I have used this for a bump/ballistic helmet with NVGS and it is amazing for the price

Topping up my ballistic helmet with this was a good idea. In addition to the led mode, there is also a bright mode. Despite being so lightweight, it is extremely strong. Unlike previous versions, the mount doesn't feel as solid as I would like it to be. The way the strobe attaches to the mount also seems less All I had to do was wrap a rubber band around it, and I was done. In contrast to cheaper IR lights that glow red at night, IR lights can't be seen by the naked eye. I find this strobe to be very impressive.

The quality is very good for the price

The device works great and came charged right We will be using only NV modes, a constant blimp, and signal mode. Press the power button for 3 seconds or for a moment to access each of them. It seemed pretty bright to me from 100 yards or more when I tested it with my NVs. There is no doubt it can be seen for half a mile to a mile. When you put on your helmet, make sure the end of the mount leads up to the front of the So as you move forward you will not fall off the mount when you hit an obstacle or tree branch. Also, make sure you thave a charging cable for the power battery along with it in your bag or on your helmet if you do not want to carry it around all the time. It has not been tested yet whether the charge lasts a long time.

If we compare the $212 price of the Manta IR strobe to this, it is an instant no-brainer. In IR modes, the visible light is not visible to the naked eye, and in vis green, the visible light After you play around for a bit, you will easily be able to access all the different modes available. An IR strobe at this price is far and away the best deal. The company has also been around for a number of years so trust them.

The rechargeable rechargeable headband is perfect for nighttime shenanigans when wearing NODs. Having not really put it through any real hard use yet, but so far it seems to be In addition to the red LED, it also has a green LED which I haven't used.
