An excellent product. Most expensive ones have some additional features that make them more useful. After losing it on the Pacific Crest Trail, I used it as a hiking stick. After searching for several hours, I found a Black Diamond USB rechargeable headlamp. In terms of a budget headlamp, it did a surprisingly good job. After doing a bit of research I found that the headlamp was inadequate, so I found a better (and substantially more expensive) headlamp to compare with. As it does a spot pattern and is very bright, it does a tight pattern. The USB charging feature was useful to me since it meant I would have to carry fewer batteries and I carry a lithium battery for my phone anyways to charge my USB devices. You will get more features after you purchase a higher-quality product, such as a better flood, more light options, and a locking mechanism to prevent accidental turning on or draining the battery. It does not prevent accidental turn on, so that would be my only complaint about it. After hitting the button and turning it on, I found it a few times in my bag showing the way in a backpack pocket. Fortunately, there was no critical problem with the switch turning on accidentally, but there was definitely some risk of this happening.

My favorite part of this light is the reflection! Despite its lightweight and bright appearance, it is very comfortable, waterproof, and highly visible. My wish list was filled to the brim with everything I wanted. Neither the quality nor the price can be beaten. There is no doubt that I will purchase more of these lights.

You'll love it. This product is used by me every day on pre-employment We walk or run the dog early in the morning. My ability to protect my night vision requires the use of a red light, as I often pass through areas that do not have clearly defined boundaries or lighting. By clicking the button, the red light disappears, and I am able to see 100 feet in front of me on the high setting when the white light is on. A simple screwdriver lets you angle the lamp to aim where you prefer, and a strap ties it in place so you can transport it around. In addition to wearing a wool hat or a baseball cap, I wear the cap with my winter boots. Fast charging is one of the best features of Foxelli's MX10. This charger holds its charge for many hours of walking, and I have never had a problem with it over the months that I have been using This is how it was until There was an issue with the red light button that prevented you from cycling through settings. There is no charge for this service. They provided polite, prompt, and responsive customer service. I really appreciated that. They also provided a very cool headlamp that I really like. In general, I don't write reviews, but I was so delighted to get such a positive response, I had to let people know. *Update 8/1/17 I've been using the new Foxelli headlamp for several months now and it seems to be working very well. I was able to use it this past weekend at an observatory in Union Grove Wisconsin, where the only kind of lighting allowed is red lamp light to protect the night vision of the visitors. The last time I used it was on a kayak trip, and it got a bit wet, but nevertheless worked properly. This lamp can run all night long on a single charge.

In a nutshell, It's getting darker at night, and my neighborhood has only a couple of street lights. So, I ordered this headlamp to wear while running at night. Last night, I wore it for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. A white light can be turned on in three different The red light has 6 brightness levels, including 1 very bright, 1 medium bright, and 2 flashing I adjusted it a few times and was able to keep it in place on my forehead without it being too tight or While I was worried that it would be uncomfortable, even when I was sweating heavily (it's still in the 80's here), the t-shirt did not chafe or irritate my forehead. With such a bright lamp, I can point it right at the ground in front of me so I can see uneven pavements or road hazards nearby. Thanks to the adjustable way the headlamp can be pointed, I can avoid all dangerous situations behind me. When I was passing cars, I switched to the solid red light mode so I wouldn't blind them. You can switch between modes quickly and easily. This was a very good purchase and I'm planning on ordering a couple more for Christmas gifts.

I have owned it for almost one year now. It is fairly lightweight and comfortable to wear around the neck or on top of the head for extended periods, and its battery life is excellent. In fact, I'm not sure how long the battery lasts on a charge, but the battery has lasted me through an entire 3-day camping trip in addition to a few wrenching sessions of several hours. This battery charger with a micro USB port is really convenient and only takes a few minutes to recharge For the battery to fully charge, it takes 2 hours. The light on the brightest setting will begin to flicker after 10 minutes on the brightest setting but I placed a star because I've had it for quite a while, but it's on its way out. About fifteen Even on dim setting, the light is still dim enough to provide adequate illumination. As part of my update, I just wanted to let you know that Foxelli's customer service is amazing. As soon as I contacted them about my issue, I received a reply the same day and had my replacement at my door two days later.
