The headlamp I am using now has been my primary light source for the past year, but As if I received it yesterday, I have dropped it in mud, water, and off trees, and it still holds up as if it was brand new. As far as battery life goes, it's pretty good, with no flickering troubles. There is only one flaw, however, and that is the touch dimmer is quite sensitive, so I usually lock the light when cave diving.
This is the second light from this company that I have owned. I had the first one that was 330 lm, but I dropped it in the driveway and the FedEx truck rolled over it, With this light, the brightness is a bit better, it has four batteries instead of three, and it seems like the battery life is quite a bit longer before you have to change it. I like all the functions of this light and I think it is very usable and useful, along with being very comfortable to wear on your head all day long.
Despite its great build quality, it also works perfectly.
This was great for a night hike on the Sespie River Trail. I have used several headlamps over the years, but these are far and away the best I've used.
It has nice features, is robust, is not the lightest, but is great for adventures, adventuring, and climbing.
I've used other models before and I think this one is by far the brightest and has its night modes set to Red, Green, and Blue! Fishing or camping are great night activity activities when the sky is blue.
You need a flow chart for all the settings so you can run through all the options.
