It's not intentionally that I am a big fan of BioLite. When I buy something from them, I'm always surprised by how durable it is, how easy it is to use, and how easy it is to receive. However, I was told that it costs 10% or more Even though it costs 20% more than most similar items, it is well worth the price. When you pay for something, you get what you paid This headlight was on Indiegogo, and I purchased four of them. Each of them came with a diffuser bag and were 30% off. I have used them on a hard hat and they are very useful. They live longer than any of my coworkers' big high-powered
Look on Amazon for "hard hat clips" and you will find them in packs of 6, 8, 10 etc they actually This is a great company, and they have a
You could take it apart to see what kind of rechargeable battery you need however, that will be at your own risk It is unlikely to be a standard battery, and you will need to search for what you need. It's been almost two years since I bought mine, and I still use it regularly. I would look into purchasing another one if mine dies, since this is the best headlamp I have ever owned.
It will remember what mode and brightness it was in when you last used it and will return to that mode when you turn it back on.
The height of the lamp can be adjusted.

As a first point, the battery life is very poor. My life would have been a mess if I hadn't brought a solar power bank. When I set the lowest setting, I was often left in the dark after just an hour or so. Also, the brightness of this thing is unbearably bright, so if you are in a camp with many other people, it is the kind of thing that can be blinding. I wish I hadn't brought the new headlamp, only because I had my tried and true regular headlamp, which has the right amount of brightness and lasts for weeks.
This light seemed like a great option on all counts An innovative idea, it causes no bounce, making it useful for confined spaces at night, securing IVs in confined spaces in pitch darkness, antimicrobial sweat wicking headbands, and recharging lithium ion batteries, among others. It sounded excellent, and I enjoyed it till I noticed that it developed all sorts of funky colored mold on top of the antimicrobial headband within three weeks of receiving it. There is no way you can deep clean a $50 headlamp that is integrated with the strap and therefore cannot be cleaned to deal with this type of problem. The headlamp did last literally 4 weeks and one of those weeks was in the box at home. It is a bummer not to receive a new light from the company, and I will also have to order a headlamp. In any case, the mold issue needs to be resolved, because if it lasted for more than a few weeks, then it would truly be a wonderful product. Having wasted a bunch of cash, I give this product a 2 star rating overall because it is innovative and has the potential to be great if it fixes one major problem.
Recharges more quickly than ever with near-instantaneous charging The batteries are recharged at night. When you live in Texas, you have to deal with the following Due to the seal in the design and the fact that it's only water-soluble, my headband has a foul smell and I'm not sure where to wash it. A water-resistant material, not one that is I guess I should have known better. You'll save money by using it instead of a battery The battery of a powered one leaked after the device was turned on accidentally at the bottom of a backpack. (With an improperly fitted helmet, the band cannot fit under your helmet and is not large enough underneath to fit on top of the bike It makes an excellent walking surface and is also used for a wide range of low-impact activities There is a need for light. On August 1, 2020, a new law will be enacted This band definitely isn't waterproof, even after carefully hand washing it. The short ended up being The light was left on for about half a day, and then was finally turned off when a pen was used to press the button. As a result, the switch is much less responsive now.
If the button and tilt are combined, there is a possibility that the button will be accidentally clicked You have to press to operate the headlamp (at least while you are getting used to it). I would also like to see the two on/off buttons separated from the mode selector (which requires quick presses to toggle between the two). However, other than that I find the light great and it lasts me for almost the whole day at the store (as opposed to the advertised four.
It is the design that encouraged me to purchase the Biolite. I really like the way the light is integrated into the band, but I wish they had included what the user interface was like in the description, as that is what I found to be a major deal breaker. begin, the single thing to do would be - It's impossible to click on all of the buttons. Additionally, a second button can be used to select the light mode. There is way too much labor involved in pressing a button six times to select the light mode and then holding it for a while to toggle the brightness to the appropriate level. In addition, if you take too long in pressing the button, the program will be reset and you will have to start over afterward. Thanks to my Black Diamond Spot 325 purchase, I also acquired another watch. There are two buttons and a discreet tap function on the side of the unit to control it. That was very well done! So that's what you do when you design a user interface, I think! It's a given that the Biolite is going back and the Black Diamond is mine.
It is great and I am thankful I bought it for a GoRuck event. The various headlamps that I used previously have not been as comfortable and easy to wear as this one. In contrast to most other styles, the camera does not have a huge battery to give it weight, nor does it have bulky light assemblies that bounce back and forth and don't remain angled correctly. A really low profile, comfortable and stylish design makes this a great bottle opener. Even when burpees were performed, this stayed in place! As a result, there are a variety of light options, but I had to practice a bit to determine my default and get used to it. Now it's very easy. While it looks too small to be adjustable, the light angle allows you to move up and down with a surprising amount of distance. My only issue was the power button on this device.
It was bright enough for an overnight ruck event and allowed me to keep track of where I was going. On a backpacking trip I had also used this, and at some point while it was still in my bag, I accidentally hit the button and it turned on and stayed on, draining its I luckily brought a backup battery pack and the headlamp charged rather quickly after being disconnected. As an alternative to a pressable button, I would like to see a slide switch. Otherwise, this light has a lot of pros and the only drawback is the price. I highly recommend this book!.
Lights such as these have a good look, but are not reliable. The system works well when it's working. As I walk early in the morning, this is my go-to place for my son and me since we are Scouts. We camp almost every month. There is only one button that controls everything, which is a bit finicky initially, but easy to master once you get the hang of it. A quick toggle between a very bright targeted light, a broad beam of light, and a red light is available. When camping, it is useful to have an ice chest. *The headband is a snug fit with an adjustable size. It seems that my light will suddenly stop working after the warranty period, leaving me in the dark. In that case, it would behave like it had been drained of its battery. Plugging it back into the micro-USB is all I need to do Simply connect it to a USB power source and it will start working There are problems with it As a result, of no use.
