I'm updating my EDC, and I had high hopes for this multi-faceted project. tool. The price was appealing, as was the fact that all of the tools were secured. The pliers have an internal spring, which I found to be very useful. The tool selection within the company is excellent. br>However, the pliers broke the first time I used them (as shown in the photos). This is a pity, because the main tool in "multi-tasking" is the computer. Plier/wire cutters are, of course, a "tool. " br>The tool appears to be made of cheap metal, despite the fact that it feels heavy. br>Unfit for the job. br>I would not recommend this multi-player game to anyone. tool.

  I work in IT and wear many hats, including facilities support, and this all-in-one tool has proven to be extremely useful in the short time I've had it. Because the company's handheld can opener was misplaced, I used it yesterday. That's one feature I didn't expect to use, but I'm glad it's included in this toolkit. The coffee maker was leaking when I arrived this morning. I tightened the fitting with the pliers. Since I first got it, I've used it every day for something small.

It was well worth the money. My new tool for the truck. This multitool was a gamble for me. I'm ecstatic that I was able to do so. Tools that are solid and hefty, as well as well machined and chromed. A pressure latch on each side allows you to quickly select the tool you want. Each tool locks into place with a solid click and can be released in the same manner. The wire cutter inside the jaws even has a wire stripping notch, and the blades are sharp. The internal spring makes the pliers easy to use with one hand. My new pickup truck is ready to roll. to tool. br>br>For my camper, I'm going to try their combo hammer/hatchet tool.

  This multi-functional device tool has a great feel to it. It's well-built and substantial. This isn't a flimsy piece at all. Every tool that folds into the handle has a positive locking mechanism that must be released before it can be folded back into the tool's handle. Also spring-loaded is the plier portion. loaded, allowing for one-handed operation. if necessary, repositioning with the hands In the video that follows, I demonstrate these techniques. As a multipurpose pocket "toolbox," this is an excellent choice.

I used to have a Gerber 600 and a SOG PowerAssist, but I lost them both when I was robbed. I felt compelled to have a good multitool on me as a Medic, but I'm not made of money. I made the decision to stray from the pack. I purchased a Magnalex with bits and two RoverTacs and am extremely pleased with my purchase. 12 in 1 tools, heavy-duty construction, blade 'locking' system, and a sturdy carrying case. All of this for a third of what my previous multitools cost. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese goods; instead, I prefer to purchase American goods. But, necessity being what it is, I had no choice but to go 'off brand' in order to replace what had been stolen and avoid going bankrupt. This is a good, high-definition product that should last me for many years. With this one, China has really stepped it up a notch.

Rivets that are inexpensive I was hoping this would be a suitable replacement for my 20-year-old Leatherman, which had only failed because I had misplaced it. My old multitool was solid steel, rivets and all, and I could hammer it with any of the outer surfaces. When I tried the same thing with the RoverTac, I quickly discovered that the rivets are probably cheap steel at best or polished aluminum at worst, and it's falling apart as a result. br>br>I also discovered that the primary straight blade was not well honed, and couldn't cut even hard plastic blister packs well, putting my fingers at risk. The sawtooth blade was made of a similar, if not identical, metal that would quickly dull. It's a shame, because the locking mechanism felt good and the tool fit my hand well, but if the rivets aren't hardened steel, the tool will simply not last long. All of this was discovered after my return period had expired, so I guess I'll have to pay more for a better build.

I've owned a number of multi-tools over the years, and this one is unique in a good way. br>br>The size of it fits perfectly in my hand; I'm a big guy, 6' 3" and almost 330 pounds, with big hands, and this tool fits perfectly in my hands. br>br>I really like the black and silver finish on this. Its functions are simple, and the release buttons are also easy to reach. br>br>I'm enclosing some pictures of what it looks like; I was happy with the price before I got it, but now that I have it, I'm very happy with this purchase as a whole. br>br>The only criticism I have is that you won't be able to carry this in your pocket because it is quite large. You'll almost certainly want to use the pouch that comes with it. This multitool will not let you down. br>br>.

I've had a gerber multi tool for years, and while I'm not sure what kind of steel it's made of, the tools have always broken or chipped. HEAVY DUTY is the word for this RoverTac multi tool. In your hands, it just feels very solid. It's a little heavy, but once you start pulling out the various tools, you'll understand why. The tools appear to be of good steel, and the overall construction appears to be much more expensive than $20 or $30. The locking mechanism in particular appeals to me. As a result, the tools click into place with a satisfying thud. If you're looking for a good multi tool but don't want to spend a lot of money, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this purchase.
