It is a great size, all of the tools open and close and work well. With the sharp blades right out of the box, the leather sheath was made to last and features a belt loop that makes it easy to slip on and off. It has been on my wish list for a while, and I am glad I could finally get my hands on Excellent product for everyone who uses EDC.

The only thing it would be better is if it had a plastic bag hook carrier instead of the Phillips head driver. I couldn't pass on this one either, and I own three of them already. This one was priced right and came with a sheath for the blade, so I bought it. Securing Swiss Army's lifetime warranty is an additional advantage. You can send in the knife and tell them what you want done, replace the chipped or oversharpened blade or crack in the handle and they will fix it just pay shipping there and back, if it's a sentimental knife the cost is Approximately six dollars per way is the shipping charge.

I consider it one of the most useful tools on the market. In the past, I lost a similar knife. This newer knife is almost identical to the one I lost. That one lasted forever, so I'm sure this one will as well. The pros are This item has a very sharp blade. It also has a very well-crafted handle The hinges should be oiled The plastic case is easy to open and close. It has a good mix of tools in a compact size. It also comes with tweezers! In my opinion, (worth the price of admission alone)

Cons There is no file, which is really hard to find on knives this size. The pouch does not match the quality of the knife. Aside from being too large and looking cheap, it feels cheap and feels cheap in the hand. The pouch may be beneficial for putting the knife on a belt, but this is a pocket knife. On its own, it is a small, handy knife, but the pouch will make it large and cumbersome. There is no reason why I would want to make use of the pouch, so I put it in a drawer. Without knowing the nature of the pouch, I would have tried to buy the knife on its own to save some money.

This is a great knife. I just bought it to replace a Camper (the same knife without the hook) that I trusted. It's kind of a bummer that the leather case isn't any better. I think it's a mini cellphone case from the late 90s with elastic sides. There is something truly wonderful about these knives. The stainless steel is very strong. I have never come across any knockoffs that are as good as this one. carried my old one with me while going on survival trips for a couple of years. I used it for day to day tasks and for whittling. A wonderful folder. It has to be one of our best. My favorite part of this multitool is the can opener, the saw, and the scissors! The can opener works wonderfully, the saw is great, and the scissors are surprisingly good.

I feel confident that all the tools are smooth to open and do not play. There are no hinges on the back but they all look to be preassembled Furthermore, it is oiled, which is a nice touch. Having a belt clip on the sheath also makes it very nice, though it may sit a little high on the hip for some people. There is a silly, paper thin cardboard box in which they are delivered. In that state, the entire product packaging came totally demolished in the post, and couldn't be gifted. This was because Amazon shipped the product in a bubble envelope. In this case, I had to take it out of the box and wrap it separately, which was fine, but not suitable for a more formal gift. Hence, if you want to gift something to someone and it's a bit more formal wherethey cannot get an opened present, buy a bunch of bulky things at the same time and make sure it comes in boxes or their packaging may get crushed.

For a price point of this size, the quality is about what I expected. The quality of the tools and blades is all in them. Aluminum liners with crude edges are used as liners, while soft plastic handles are used as handles. The carrying pouch is nice, but I do wish it fastened with a loop instead of a hook since it is attached by hooks instead of loops. I am sure they did this in an effort to fulfill a price point while keeping the manufacturing in Switzerland. There are some instances when it might get ripped off your belt without you realizing it. It is a very handy tool that I recommend everyone keep on hand for everyday use or during.
