Benchmade - Mini Crooked River 15085-2 EDC Manual Open Hunting Knife, Clip-Point Blade, Plain Edge, Satin Finish, Wood Handle, Made in the USA

I wanted the original Crooked River, but it is so large and cumbersome that it makes it difficult to carry. It's not really a mini (it's not that tiny. ) is the perfect size for me so I ordered one and totally love it. I may not be the most accurate, but I believe that mine is the best. I also love how it's perfectly centered, the transitions between wood and metal are impeccable, and the action is just silky smooth out of the box. I'm so glad I found this video- My hands are busy opening and closing the blades as they look and feel so smooth. I'm sure your peers will be green with envy after they see this knife. It's truly stunning. There is only one possible negative thing I can say about it In other words It consists of The sharpness of the box isn't so impressive, as you can see in the close-up. This is a close-up shot of the edge to show you how unpolished it is. The OOTB edge isn't important to many people who order a pocket knife this expensive, but it doesn't hurt to mention it. For me, it feels like getting an expensive sports car and having to tweak the engine immediately.

Anyhow, if you are looking for a premium knife, this is it. This knife has captured my heart, and most likely, it will do the same for you,.

The full size Crooked River is in my collection. My interest in this mini arose as soon as I saw it. I see the size and feel of the 940 series as being comparable to the griptilian full size. I love it. The execution of this project was excellent.

The expected results were exactly what we think the size and shape of this knife is basically identical to the 940/943, and I think it's much more edc friendly. I personally like the size of this knife. A deep carry clip was added since the factory clip sticks out quite a bit when inserted into the pocket. A superb knife from a company that stands out in the field. Regardless of how you feel, you'll have a great time.

Crooked River is a full size chess board which I bought about a year ago and really enjoy playing The moment I saw that Benchmade made a smaller version, I was sold. After it was delivered, I tested it to see how it operated and how sharp it was. It was a Benchmade from the golden age. In addition, after I held it, I noticed that the scale on the pocket clip side was out of alignment. There was less than a 1/32 inch gap between the frame and the tab. There was a tendency for a thumb to rest quite far behind the gripping mechanism where you use your thumb. It was uncomfortable to hold the scale with its corner so What a shame for Benchmade, a knife at such a high price point shouldn't have such an issue. With or without this issue, it would have gotten a five-star rating from me. My first order was sent back, so I ordered another on the basis that it was a glitch. Yes, it had the same problem when I got the second one. Despite the scale, I decided to keep it, and I may remove the scale and sand it down to a smooth surface one day. I may buy my last knife from Benchmade before the end of the year.

I have the knife I have been waiting for! For once, Benchmade gets it right - or close enough to be acceptable to me. It is one of my favorite brands and I have a Barrage (which is misplaced for the moment but it allowed me to justify the MCR purchase! If you add $100 to the cost of the item The BM knife in the $300 price range is clear winner and even custom knives in the higher dollar range may not fare as well. A mini Crooked River is what you are looking for! A wooden version of the scales I got was what I got. As I had Amazon credit, I could get it for over $50 less than the BM shop cart price. I had a custom one in the shop cart for over $50 less than the BM shop cart price. A wood grip works well for an everyday carry device. The situation may get slippery as a hunting knife smeared with blood, but I ain't going down that road! It's my bag of things or everything I use every day while I travel full-time as an I didn't expect it to have a better grip, but while it is finely polished, there are some very fine parallel lines machined into the wood to lend ample grip in dry situations

I think this is a perfect EDC for me. I can barely tell they're there. Does what I want it to. Fits right next to my Fenix UC35. Using a wrist flick is almost as easy as using the Barrage's assist open. I was accustomed to that opening method and thought I might miss it, but even with a tight, wiggle-free blade, deploying just takes a quick flick of the wrist. It has a near perfect fit and finish. One wood scale is a hair larger and I feel a burr, but once I put it under a microscope looking for flaws, that is all I can see and feel! There is no factor in it! The edge on the blade is a little rough, it is not a high polish razor, but With a light touch, I easily shaved a swath of hair off my arm. A knife that is as sharp as I want it to be!

The S30V steel offers an excellent combination of edge retention and toughness that is desirable in everyday carry knives. The knives are all the same. I'm gonna do it! The product has a great style, a great feel, and great quality! Regardless of how tactical your situation is, I don't think you can get a better EDC. While I like the orange accoutrements, I had the black scales selected on the BM website with the orange accoutrements, but I think I can get better use of the $50 instead! I've been looking for an EDC knife that would fit me for a long time and I finally found one! The Benchmade team thanks you!.
