it has a belt clip so it can be attached
I attached my belt loop to the sheath on the kydex sheath with a clip. For extra security I ran shock cord through the holes in the sheath and through the molle webbing. The tension was then secured with a snap / Besides the sheath, SOG also sells individual sheaths if you cannot find one that is suitable for you. If I were to carry anything, I would rely only on my belt clip.
The answer is yes. A fire steel can be sparked by almost anything that is sufficiently sharp. This includes broken glass as well! Would you mind if I asked you if the blade has a 90-degree grind on the back side? It didn't do that with the one I handled, but the choke did with a little As long as it is an inexpensive knife, I would be comfortable taking a file to the back and making

LISTEN TO - After we contacted the seller, they sent a replacement at no cost to us. Customer service is five stars. We are deeply grateful for your help. It seems that the second knife handled the job Our son handled it more smoothly because we were a little hesitant to snap tangs in the face. And then it sank into the murky depths of a fishing pond, never to be found The world is gone womp I'm at a loss - ( In any case, I am As much as I don't want to ruin the ratings of this seller, who clearly provides good customer service and cares about their customers, I still have concerns about safety, heaven forbid that it would happen to My customer service rating is now one star up and I hope our knife truly was a one in a million (or billion) purchase. In the initial review Buying a full tang knife means a strong knife, and SOG is known for strong knives. That's not the case. I saw the tang snap in the middle of my son's use of Despite being just a few inches from his face, the blade wound up up his arm. That is such a dangerous situation! Details can be found in the photos. goodness, my son was not hurt. I would appreciate it if you could please send SOG. You should either recall the knife or fix the problem. It is important that no one get hurt!.
I think I have finally found it! My only regret is that I didn't find this sooner because not only would I have saved money, but I would have bought another 5 of them, saving myself a lot of trouble. Because these are so reasonable in price, I am planning to give them out as gifts in the future. I have a few slight negatives to bring up. The Sheath rides high on the hip, but is a nice item. I could live with it, but it isn't exceptional. In terms of the blade itself, it is very good and It's always good to have an advantage. I have never held a handle so comfortable, even though I would prefer if it had been half an inch longer. The rubberized handle is very grippy, and a delight to use (I have large hands)! Considering that it is only 30 bucks, it is a steal! A round of applause for SOG! I would like to request that you take this exact design and make it larger to a 5 and a half or 6 inch blade, with a five or five and half inch handle. You would have the perfect knife. I would buy a lot of them and am more than willing to pay $60 a pop for them. It is a knife I would recommend It's a great deal, you won't regret buying one.
Knife of this quality is amazing. In order to improve my sharpening skill without destroying an expensive fixed blade, I bought the product as a cheap option. I have really learned to love this blade after so many months of daily use while I am building a home in the wilderness of the Rockies! Wearing it clipped through my center belt loop, it's worn sideways behind my back. I really like the convenience of the location. The ladder did not work since I dropped it into deep snow after I struggled with it on my big ladder. Until the spring thaw, it will be hard to find! After my first knife broke, I ordered another immediately because now I cannot leave home without carrying the knife with me at all times! When used at - degrees it did not crack or split, not even while using it for more than a day. The temperatures on my job were 16 degrees below freezing, but everything else was not working!.
It is important to me to buy inexpensive knives so I can The following are just some of the things this knife does well for its $26 price tag I really like the shape of the blade (and the jimping on the spine), and it also has a solid hilt. Hand grip shaped like a palm. Camp tasks were handled well by this program The prep of food and gutting of fish is not a chore to do. There was a sharp edge to it, and it hasn't lost it. Upon receipt, it comes with a kydex sheath (or similar) that keeps it secure and allows me to easily attach it to my belt and carry it. For the first time I've used a SOG knife, and I'm very satisfied.
The following is a tentative review as I have only had the knife for a short time. There are many things you'll be able to do with this knife. The size is just right for many different Overmolded handles make an excellent grip and feel good in the hand. Yet to be seen how the device performs under wet conditions and how well the grip works. I don't have a problem with the belt-clip, but it's a little lacking at this price point, so I'm not too concerned. We have not.
The knife has only been in my possession for one day but I am really enjoying Normally I use a Morakniv 511 carbon craftline for restoring decks and doing other home improvements, but I wanted to take it fishing and using it as an everyday carry weapon. There is a noticeable difference between the Mora and this sheath. I prefer wearing this knife higher on my belt and it's much more comfortable to use when driving or sitting. Depending on how much spare tire you have, this might not be very comfortable because you sit pretty close to the handle. With just one use, I have been cutting vines and roots for a week, trimming boards of incomplete saw cuts, and doing everything I needed it to do. The knife came well-sharpened, and the blade is still holding its edge after a full day of work. It is hard for me to gauge the quality of 7CR17MOV steel, but we will see in time. I enjoy sitting and working on my knives in the evening. Because I never let my Aus8 or 8CR14mov get dull, I probably won't notice a difference between them and this blade. My favorite thing about the sheath is the color. Despite the retention, the knife stays firmly in place on the back of the hand. As for the deployment, it is effortless. I do not feel stuck when I use this like I do with other Schrades. One of the reasons I like the belt clip is that it fits perfectly on thick leather. I wear a belt that is 5" wide. Amazon set a new record with this fast delivery, well done. A great knife for fishing. I will use this to cut line, rope, bait, etc. My Mora is still my daily workhorse, but I'm looking forward to using this one. 26 bones were well spent on this awesome knife!.
In addition, The fixed blade is great. In particular, the price is excellent.
As for the sheath, it has amazing retention and conceals the knife very well, I usually wear it on my waist, but sometimes wear it on my boot to make it more concealed. This is a special knife that I highly recommend to someone in search of a good fixed blade, full tang, EDC.
