Kills odors and improves the flavor of potable water that has been stored. It prevents slime from forming in water storage containers.

Stored water has a five-year shelf life after being treated with Aquamira Water Treatment and sealed, while treatment has a four-year shelf life from the date of manufacture.

No aftertaste and treats up to 60 gallons.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to store the water for another 5 years after storing the two bottles for 4 years and then using them to treat water?

I'm not sure, but treated water appears to be safe, based on what I've read over the last five years. Because the water treatment product will inevitably degrade over time, I would recommend a four-year limit.

How long does it take for the water to be treated? Is it a year or more?

Aquamira will keep treated water safe to drink for up to 5 years if the container is kept sealed to prevent contamination.

Is it necessary to change the water after five years or can I just retreat it?

Yes, the water can be treated after it has been stored for a long time.

What's the most important component? What is in the 98% that you do not tell me?

It's distilled water that has been deionized.

Excellent for water purification in the event of a SHTF situation

I'm a prepper, and I've included this water treatment in my kit. In the event of a SHTF situation, I have 2,000 gallons of emergency water stored and stabilized. In the unlikely event that my water supply runs out and I am forced to draw water from unknown sources, I intend to use this water treatment. I also have a Big Berkey, as well as a supply of spare filters, which I use to filter all of my water. The most important thing a prepper can have is clean drinking water.

The glass bottles aren't my favorite part of the product

POURING FROM GLASS BOTTLES IS DIFFICULT. I've been using Aquamira for a long time and have always been pleased with it. I used to only have plastic squeeze bottles, but I ended up with glass bottles this time. The glass bottles appear to be made specifically for use with the droppers, and I anticipate that this method of delivery will be effective. However, I was unable to pour from the glass bottles into a tablespoon without the liquid running down the side of the bottle, resulting in a mess.

More potable water from the well

The children were relocated to a ranch with running water. The water had previously been tested for toxicity, but it didn't taste great, so I bought this to try to clean it up, and it worked. According to the directions, 5 drops of each component were used per quart. It also improves the taste of the water that comes out of my refrigerator. However, I'm going to have to order some larger refills.

Because the tablets were sold out, I had to settle for the liquid drops. This brand was recommended by a survival book because it was more effective at killing protozoa than others.

For everyday use, this is a fantastic product

It didn't come with a mixing cup, but it was simple to order and arrived on time. We prepared it according to the directions, and I've been drinking it while I've been sick. It appears to be beneficial.
