Contigo Kids Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Redesigned AUTOSPOUT Straw, 13 oz, Blue Corn & Licorice

I hesitated to write a negative review because I adore Contigo water bottles, but these dripped. Inside, they have a complex structure that differs from other Contigo water bottles. I bought these for my daughter to take to school, and she keeps them in her backpack's outside pocket. Her bag and belongings have gotten wet twice now as a result of leakage from the side of the lid where it meets the bottle. It still dripped when turned on its side after I double-checked that it was screwed on properly and that all parts were in their proper places.

I purchased several of these bottles to replace 10oz Contigo bottles that were beginning to show their age. They work in the same way as the other model, but they have a few more ounces of capacity and a design that allows you to clean the lid/straw assembly completely without losing any parts. To avoid mold growth, wash the lid after each use and let it air dry. br>br>I had a problem with one of my bottles slightly leaking no matter how tight the lid was on, so I contacted Contigo customer service, and after swapping parts with one of my other bottles, I determined it was a faulty gasket in the lid that wouldn't allow a proper seal. Despite the fact that all I needed was a new lid (or more specifically, the O-ring), As a warranty replacement for the ring, they sent me a new bottle lid. Customer service from Contigo gets a 1!.

These water bottles are fantastic. For the past five years, our family has relied on them for the children. I value having a water bottle that is mostly free of plastic. We love how easy they are to clean and use because plastic degrades in the sun, and kids use them all the time in the sun, so the metal is ideal. The auto spout has better suction than any of the other Contigo kids models. I'm disappointed that the lids are so difficult to replace because the bottles will last a lifetime, but the kids and dogs are rough with the lids (the dog has chewed a few). I'd like to see more replacement options for the bottle so I can continue to use it.

This straw connection appeals to me more than the others I've purchased. The straw does not become dislodged in the dishwasher. It doesn't get mixed up with other straws in the house, which is important because I'm the only one who knows how to use any of these cups, and it's easy to clean. br>br>Would only change the diameter because these never fit in the car seat cup holder.

This is the best spill-proof and leak-proof water bottle I've come across, and it's ideal for toddlers. It's tough and simple to operate, but it's also secure enough to keep little hands from opening it. br>br>They improved on the previous model by sealing around the mouthpiece (where mold was a problem) and redesigning the internal structure to make it easier to keep together and clean. br>br>Given the complexity of the one-way valves, I find it best to keep it as clean as possible by avoiding any other liquids other than water.

I had purchased two of these bottles in different colors previously, and my daughter enjoys taking them to school with her. Those items would have received a five-star rating from me. br>br>After that, I bought a third of the taro/juniper mix. It leaked a lot, and the lid didn't fit on the bottle properly. I assumed it was a faulty item, so I exchanged it for one that was identical. which turned out to be plagued by the same issue. br>br>I'm going to try another color combination and see what happens.

To be honest, I'm blown away by this. Many cups claim to be spill-proof and easy to clean, but this one does exactly that, and my son loves it. It's also convenient because it keeps his drinks cold. The only criticism I have is that it is a little too wide for my son's cup holder, which is attached to his car seat. However, I still intend to purchase more because they are the best cup I've ever seen.

This bottle is one of our favorites. It's simple to clean, it doesn't leak, and it keeps my child hydrated. The only complaint I have is that the loop does not open like the adult bottles. We're on our third bottle because she takes it out of her backpack's pocket and forgets about it. I'd do it the same way I do mine if it had a loop, so I wouldn't have to worry about losing things (I finally got a d ring).
