Despite my high level of satisfaction with my purchase, I would never pay $30 again. This purchase is for one pouch and costs $ 00. If it's for a pack of six, double check to make sure $5 isn't being charged. The price for a pack is $10.00. As a result, I believe this is price gouging and the matter needs to be reported to both Amazon and your state
There is no doubt that Mountain House meals are produced in the United States. You're welcome! I appreciate your interest.

For my son and I to take a camping trip, I bought this to see how it works. In order to make sure that he ate the food we brought, I made sure that his stomach was full. The food was infested with bugs after he had eaten a few bites. Then when I looked at it, it was a bug indeed. Before long, I thought it was a trick. Even if there had been just one stray, I would have chalked it off as a stray, but the food was FULL of bugs. Worse yet, when I contacted the company, they blamed How's it going? A sealed bag cannot admit bugs, so how do they get into it? There's no concern for the quality of the food that they produce, I guess. That night I took the food camping, so it was good that I tried it first. If we had eaten then, either we wouldn't have noticed or we would have gone hungry. The crap they sell is worthless to me, and I won't buy it.
As I mention in another review for mountain house meals, this one is easy to prepare and tastes great. It is clear they are not worth nearly ten dollars. The main reason I got them was because they had a long shelf life, but I thought I should try them so that I could determine if we liked them enough to buy a few. I feel as though I have no choice if I want them since they are not really worth the cost. There is also the matter that some of the varieties are very much more expensive.
Good tasting freeze dried food is hard to come by. This was a great achievement for Mountain House! There is nothing better than the taste. can certainly share this packet with two people, but you can also eat it on your own if you're not having any of the other items. My answer to both questions is yes. Additionally, it is recommended that you keep the sealed meal in the hot water at least five minutes longer than is It wasn't completely ready after I gave it the recommended time, so make sure the seal is good and wait a little bit longer. I liked the fact that you can eat straight from the bag and it was easy to use.
It has a good taste and a good Before the natural disaster actually occurred, I bought it to try. The Mountain House products I have tried thus far I will be buying to have on hand. There appears to be no comparison between canned and freeze-dried goods. While they are a bit pricey, take into account that they are edible, they are not so bad.
The order was for four beef stroganoff, but I got four Stroganoff is good enough to get 5 stars. There are 3 stars in the edible category for spaghetti. My order for 10 stroganoff is coming *(if you spend $99, you'll get free shipping).
Is like beef stroganoff (it is even better when you are cold and hungry so you can eat it in As it did not seem as if the meat chunks were tenderized enough to rehydrate all of the way, I recommend waiting a little bit longer for it to 'cook' than which the package instructs.
The Mountain House meals I have tasted to find out which would be good to keep in my family's emergency kit have all tasted great. Although there are mushrooms and onions in the mix, it was difficult to tell one from the other between the sauce and beef pieces. There is no reason why I would not wish the dish had some green vegetables such as peas or broccoli, but I wish it had some. It had a good taste overall, but I wouldn't want it all to myself as a meal. Definitely a side dish with some vegetables on it would be useful to me. Even though we didn't think this meal was bad, there are other Mountain House meals that we prefer Due to the heavy presence of noodle in the dish, I would consider keeping it for my child.
