I purchased four of the gray mess kits on Amazon, for camping and for other family members, but I also wanted this one with the good quality leather belt (for me). A YouTube fly fishing expert known as "virtuovice" uses the exact same mess kit for all of his stream-fishing activities-including fly fishing. Featuring his Firebox Stove as a side to his trout lunch. In his talk, he describes how all Japanese students are taught how to use one in case of emergency during an earthquake. A great feature of this cup is that the handle can lock in the upright position, so you may pour warm water into a cup of coffee. The aluminum mess kits may not be able to handle the direct heat of a large, especially hot campfire, but they can handle the flame and heat from a Firebox Stove, or Trangia-style oven Burners that burn both gas and alcohol.
Thus, this is a decent quality copy of a Post WW2 BW Mess kit - it's definitely not a WM Mess kit from WW2. The following obvious markers are to be noted I wanted to know what was used for the handle, the attachments for the handle, the cup handle attachment, and the canteen insert (WM version didn't have one), and what was used for the aluminum weight. Lastly, it is thinner, as well as being a different shade of gray. In spite of that, it is every bit as utilitarian as the original BW. This is the perfect place to hold a gas fire starter kit - no direct Using a Bunsen alcohol burner or small wood fire is okay. Camping trips are made easier with this stove. There are 3 parts to this kit There are three pots, a frying pan, and a bowl in the kitchen. They are connected with a strap that holds them together. This is a very convenient app that does almost everything you might One star off because the hinge that doubles as the handle seems to be very loose, as if it just kind of swings there when the whole thing You should make sure that it is not loose and It is interesting to find out how the strap saves you from this problem, but if you didn't have it, I can see this being an annoying experience. As a whole, a good M31 from a practical standpoint.
The construction is solid, the construction is modular, and the leather straps make the watch work like a charm. Having found it to be so functional and reliable, I will now use it as my primary camping cookware.
