The first lid leaks, but the second is perfect! It is perhaps best not to give up if you get one that leaks. I reviewed the original version of the book This is unfortunately not the case! There is an air leak between the layers of this lid. The first time I used it, I spilled coffee all over my shirt. At least the flip lid only let coffee drip down the back and onto my hand. Why can't Hydro Flask make a lid that is actually functional?.

My inclination to be lazy appears to have increased after buying a Hydro Flask and having to lift the lid on a regular basis was a hassle. My hands are weak and I have disease in one arm. I find that inconvenient, but if I'm being honest, it's inconvenient because I am sick and my hands are weak. I love it. When you get the lid, you need to first break it down by turning the top clockwise and then the small insert at the base counter clockwise (if those two directions do not work, then you should reverse it. Take the three parts and wash and rinse them. Please re-read Turn the top and bottom of the box in the opposite direction of what you did to open it and insert the small piece at the base. If you put it back together, there should be no more leaks. It may not stop if you repeat the above steps or tighten down just a little bit the bottom piece. To rotate the lid, you simply turn the rotating top of the lid left and right after it is drawn onto the Hydro Flask.

Here are the two things that are It was enough of a deal breaker for me to stop carrying my hydroflask to meetings since I didn't like showing up to meetings with coffee stains on my blouse or having to clean the conference tables constantly. Initially, I was going to get the wide-mouth handle lid, but darn it, the convenience of some kind of sipping lid really appealed to me. The new sip lid has arrived! A drip has not been seen, making it ideal for coffee. Our hiking adventures this week were even more spectacular due to the bright moonlight. So far, the only downside for me has been when I've tripped or fallen, if the hydroflask has hit the ground, you end up getting dirt around the lip where you drink out of it. There is another issue with the lid you have to twist it open or close. This means germs might get into the container Your fingers will be ridden when they touch where you mouth is. In light of the fact that we mostly use sanitized hands at home or in the wilderness, I can live with the convenience trade-off if it's necessary.
