It is the most advanced in its category. The tiniest of all the collapsibles on the market. If you don't have good hand strength and dexterity (or if you're elderly or have arthritis, for example), it's difficult to get the lid on and off. It takes a lot of twisting to get the lid to be water and airtight, but once done, it is. Awfully expensive; I wish they made one that was a little shallower, almost like a plate, and in a size that was halfway between this large and the extra large.
This collapsible container has a lid, which makes it a nice alternative to the standard collapsible container. Cooking in the field has always had the disadvantage of having to cover containers. This approach is successful in resolving the issue. One less item to pack in the gear bag is the bottom plastic, which doubles as a half-decent cutting board. Plastic bags and overeating do not provide this option.
It's worth it to invest in luxury. space.
There is a cover on it. It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated. But that is entirely my fault. Husband is the one who uses it the most.
It can also be used at work.
