Questions & Answers
I don't have it in front of me, but it's about 6 inches long. These are very handy little bowls that I highly recommend. We use them as our dishes when we go camping. Cleaning up is a breeze.
The diameter of the bowl is 7 inches (as listed). At the very top, there is a 3" ridge. 9 x 7 inches is the overall size. 3 x 2. This includes the handle, which measures 2" in length.
Take note of the location of the handle - This prevents them from completely engulfing one another.
Only if the bowl contains ingredients for a Spanish dish.

Cons: The bowl pictured in the advertisement is NOT the bowl that will be delivered. The image depicts a single continuous concave interior surface that is very smooth and attractive. In the middle of the bowl I received, there is a distinct raised circular area. It's obvious that it's there to keep the bowl's structural integrity, as it's far too thin to be stable otherwise. Because of the raised portion in its base, it obstructs the use of eating utensils and chop sticks, and cleaning it requires significantly more effort. The handle is also welded on by two significant welds, one on each side of the handle, as shown in the picture. There are only three tiny tacos in the bowl I received. On both sides, there are welds. The quality is clearly inferior to what is depicted in the image! br>br>Because of the aforementioned factors, I'm now wondering if the metal is even thinner than that shown, given the other differences. PROS: br>br> It's made of stainless steel and features a rounded, simple yet elegant handle that works well with a carabiner clip. Those two characteristics are the primary reasons I purchased this bowl. As a result, I'm happy with the bowl's performance, and at $20, it's also a great value. There are no sharp edges on it. Among all the low-quality stainless steel bowls available, this one stands out. This one is most likely at the very bottom of the low scale. If I needed another, I'd purchase it again. The handle has captured my heart. br>br>This bowl can easily be attached to a backpack or rucksack. It's lightweight, but it's also tough. Not for the ultra-wealthy. It's suitable for day trips but not for serious hiking. br>br>I'd rather buy a SnowPeak bowl, but it isn't available with Prime shipping, and Japan is a long way away.
For camping, these are fantastic. I've had one for a long time and have used it extensively while traveling throughout the United States. Sure, I understand why it doesn't stack up - However, the presence of a handle compensates for this. I use it for camping because I can sit in a chair next to a campfire and hold it by the handle even when it's hot. I can also use the camp stove to reheat food. However, because it isn't particularly thick, I wouldn't recommend heating it up on its own. In general, this is an excellent product.
As you'd expect from a camping item, the bowl is extremely light. It appears to have been constructed properly. I purchased it for a daily salad at work. Everything is in order.
It's sturdy, and the handle makes it ideal for hot foods. Much better than the plastic bowls, which eventually warp.
Only because the dimensions are misleading and it is much smaller than expected did I give it a three. The quality is excellent, as it is with most GSI products, but due to the smaller size, the utility is limited.
I recently went camping with this. I adore the size of this bowl - it's perfect! You don't need to bring both because it's basically a plate. The bowl has a thin but sturdy bottom. The only drawback is that because it's stainless steel, it gets extremely hot when plating hot foods, so I had to use a glove to comfortably hold it. However, it is preferable to the filthy plastic bowls. For one-handed use, the small handle can be used as a thumb hole.
It's something I use all the time because it's light and easy to clean. Dings and bends easily. However, it has mostly returned to shape so far. The handle comes in handy. especially when it comes to hot food I was able to boil water, heat soup, and cook eggs and spam without using a direct heat source. But that's about it. That would be too much for me.
Please be aware that the size of this bowl may appear to be larger than it actually is. br>br>the dimensions are as follows: 8. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> 7" across from handle to opposite rimbr>5" across from handle to opposite rimbr>5" across from handle to opposite rimbr> 2" across the rim to the rimbr>25" across the rim to the rimbr> This is a good size at 25" deep. br>br> You should also be aware that the handle, which appears to be solidly molded to the bowl's side - is not! It's just a folded piece of stainless steel that's been rolled and spot welded to the bowl - On the inside of the handle, there is an open crease. br>br>As a result, cleaning the bowl may be difficult. When using the bowl, food particles may become lodged in an inaccessible part of the utensil - not good! br>br>aside from that, everything is fine - However, because of the thin stainless used (which is why it is so light - it 'pops' in and out when pushed), it will dent easily. If you're on a backpacking trip, this is a plus).
