Questions & Answers
We used to heat water in Tupperware with a stinger in prison, so this bowl should be perfectly safe.
It holds 12 ounces (1 1/2 cup) of liquid.
It's made of hard plastic and comes with a top vent. If you're using a lid, make sure it's not fastened shut and that the vent is open. I've had no problems with mine for a long time, and I hope this information is useful to you.
It's not something I'd recommend. After microwaving, it becomes extremely hot. It was almost unbearably hot.

I was worried it would be too flimsy for my needs, but it's perfect! It's very sturdy, has plenty of storage space, and folds down to almost nothing. The fork and lid are extremely useful. It weighs 4 ounces and is ideal for hiking. In our jetboil, we usually make 2 serving dehydrated meals because the amount of space is ideal; simply pour boiling water directly into the bowl with the food, cover, and cook. br>br>I always try a product out a few times before writing a review to make sure it's up to par, and this one is. I ended up buying another one for my fiancé's pack, and I will definitely buy it again.
In August of 2020, I bought this bowl to take backpacking. It's collapsible and heat-resistant, which I find appealing. After my second backpacking trip, I noticed a tear in my eye- The tear is near the folds in the bowl, and the material is very thin. I was very careful with the product. So, after only two trips, I'm surprised at how fragile and flimsy it is. This is a product I will not buy again. While out in the backcountry, I can't afford for my only eating bowl to tear. To reach the top of the collapsible bowl, I'll most likely use the sea. Although it is more expensive, it is more durable and comes with a warranty.
closed the lid and waited for the dried food pouches to finish drying. It was also used to make ramen. The hard brim ring is essential for the lid to snap into place and the bowl to remain stable. Also excellent is the fork. I'm glad I got two!.
I liked the bowl's design, as well as its color and sturdiness, but it had an odd chemical floral taste and smell to it. I washed it twice and tried to eat my cereal again, but it still tasted strange; a bowl like this shouldn't have that kind of lingering odor. I'm not sure what it is, but it has a strange odor to it. I couldn't eat out of it because the taste made my tongue tingle and the taste lingered on it. I apologize for sounding so negative, but the taste made my tongue tingle and the taste lingered on it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it, but it bothered me a lot, especially since I paid a reasonable price for it.
The lid cannot be washed in the dishwasher. For a four-day backpacking trip, my girlfriend and I each bought a bowl. During our trip, the bowls performed admirably. We put both of our bowls, which have a dishwasher safe symbol on the bottom, and only one of our bowl lids in the dishwasher away from the heating element once we got home. The other lid was hand-washed, but the dishwasher lid arrived warped and no longer fits on the bowl. We now have one bowl that we won't be able to bring on our next trip, and we feel like we've squandered our money. Do not use the dishwasher to clean the lid. It would have been nice to have a warning symbol on the lid, similar to what was on the bowl.
Every morning, I eat oatmeal, which requires a large microwave-safe bowl; you never know what kind of dishes will be in a vacation rental home kitchen, and I was tired of running to the store to buy a large enough bowl. I needed a bowl that could hold a lot of food but could also be folded up and carried around. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews, I decided on this because it sounded like the right size, was sturdy enough, and had a lid so I could bring food back home if needed. It has given me a lot of pleasure. Although it collapses, it is very sturdy and cooked oatmeal perfectly in the microwave; I can't say how long it will last, but it appears to be well-made. made.
I was looking for a collapsible bowl to take to work with me for my salads. For a medium or small salad, this is a good size. It rises more quickly than it falls. However, cleaning is a breeze. The best part is that once you've applied your salad dressing, you can quickly cover it with the top and shake it well to evenly distribute the dressing throughout the salad.
I needed something that would save me space. I do most of my camping in my car, where I have a full set-up with fridge, slide-out kitchen, bed, and other amenities. I like to stay organized, so these would be a great addition. Except for the bottom, they're all great. When holding the bowl, the bottom is soft, just like the sides, so there isn't much support. I wish it were made of a harder material so you could hold it with more confidence and not feel the cold or heat of the contents inside; if you have hot soup and try to hold the bowl while eating, you will burn your hand; a harder bottom would also be better so the bowl doesn't conform to your hand as you hold it. Aside from that, it's nice; it's big enough; the top is a good idea; and it's not too expensive.
