It was disappointing. Although the concept was excellent, there were no cleaning or sanitizing instructions or warnings. I sanitized my bowls in my dishwasher without using the heating element, but when I tried to collapse them, they did not collapse as easily as they had before. In fact, I had to expand and collapse the bowls three times before they finally collapsed the way they were supposed to. I'm not sure if there's a link between putting them in the dishwasher instead of hand-washing them at first, but Finally, I was successful. Initial sanitizing and cleaning instructions and warnings should be provided by the manufacturer, in my opinion. I'm hoping that nothing else goes wrong when I'm ready to use the bowls. But I'm not sure they'll collapse properly after I heat or cook the food I put in them in the microwave.
Compact, nice size, and the bowl expands to a very generous size, making it ideal for camping. The spork is also ideal because it eliminates the need for a separate spoon and fork to be carried around. It also has a tight-fitting lid that latches on with four little clasps around the top of the bowl to prevent spillage. 🥰.
How well it is executed will be determined over time. This bowl was purchased as a travel bowl for feeding my dog when we were on the go. The bowl is large enough for my requirements. The utensils that come with it are a farce. We'll see how long the flex hinges on the top last, and how long the flex joints on the bowl last.
This product is fantastic, and it was ideal for what I needed it to do. I had just taken it out of the package to use it when I noticed that one of the lid's closure flaps had already broken free. It was disappointing. My husband received one as well, and he liked it; I'm hoping customer service is pleasant to deal with.
I've been camping for a few weeks and this camping bowl has served as both a serving dish and a food storage container. The only gripe I have is the included foldable spork, which always wants to collapse, but that's a bonus, and camping cutlery is plentiful.
While your meal reconstitutes, the locking lid helps to keep the heat in. I would strongly suggest it.
It's easy to fold it up, and it's simple to clean.
