A hole was already there so I installed it in that. Hence, I did not have to drill any holes. If the cooler is currently in good condition, it is possible to measure the hole with a tape measure. You should be able to fit the oring tightly. Try it first on a piece of plywood if you need to.
My two are both on the inside. The black rubber is on the cool wall, followed by the plastic washer, and finally the screw that secures it all.
You can check out Igloo on the web.
I tested it on my Igloo and it worked

It seems that my 10 year old is reading more A) Ice cube cooler by Igloo. The cooler I purchased did not have a drain spout, as it was expected to have a drain spout. There's no way a cooler of this depth could do without During the installation process, it took about 10 minutes. There was an easy diagram to follow and measurements of the parts in the instructions. As there is no foam to deal with in my small hole in the cooler, I used a solid plastic drill bit. *. *. - Ensure that the plastic nut has room to turn and tighten around the spout of the cooler. The *br*- To trace the inside of the hole, use a pen or marker. A pilot hole needs to be drilled through the external surface of the cooler at the center of the circle. The *br*- A spade drill bit was used from the outside to create the hole for the spout (you could probably use a hole saw as well). The *br*- Take care to clean out any plastic that is left over. The *br*- As the rubber washer for this spout is nonexistent, it's not really able to create a good Additionally, since it is all plastic, I did not want to tighten it too much. As for sealing the parts going through the hole I just drilled, I used Loctite's Clear Silicone Waterproof Sealant (since it was inexpensive). Approximately 24 hours were required for the set to be complete. The *br*- So that it is snug, tighten it. In order to protect the cap cord from snagging on the ground or surface, I kept it on top. The nut is installed on mine probably at the lowest point so that it can still be turned and tightened inside of The last time I used it I went camping for several days and it worked like a charm! Let's hope I get another 10 years out of the spout/cap.
The Igloo rolling cooler was a perfect fit with the rack and was very simple to mount. Originally, it belonged to my Mom, so when I borrowed it for a beach party weekend and lost the drain plug top (the plastic piece that holds it on when opened had already broken, she specifically warned right away what was going on! Amazon has just about everything you could need! Once I found the replacement cap, I told her I was so sorry about the loss of her cap when I returned her cooler. I could tell she was a little upset, but she gave me credit for making her cooler worthless, as did many mothers. She was amazed to see that she no longer had to keep track when she was draining it with the new one! It was a hit with her!.
can you measure perfection? It takes roughly the same amount of time to say as to install the Igloo Replacement Triple Snap Drain Plug. I don't really think so Using my method of choosing how it should open took me about 3 minutes since I wasn't rushed and took a bit of time to decide the best way- The arrow can either go upward or downward. I picked downward so the metal wouldn't abrade the ground when it was Please consider this information in case you are Although this was a simple fix to a problem that has been around for decades I used an old cooler that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill that ended up being recycled and got it back to its original functioning for a small fee. I am pleased to know that Igloo makes parts available for their well-built products There are a lot of coolers available on Amazon, including cool-built coolers.
A 5 day cooler that I received from my parents is old. It is probably at least 20 years old. I remember camping with it when I was a child. As soon as the old drain plug broke off, I assumed it was impossible to find a replacement. The new one fits perfectly and does the same thing as the old one.
After using it last time, I noticed that the drain plug cap had broken off. Using Vise Grips, I removed the old plug and kept it by my side as I searched Amazon for a replacement plug. As I was replacing the drain plug, I placed the old one next to the online photo. In the search results, you will see a few different sizes and types of items. The new plug arrived a day before the scheduled arrival date. It is exactly the replacement part that was ordered. While removing the old drain plug, be sure to note the order in which the various parts go in the hole for the drain plug. It did not come with instructions. After I had removed the old plug, I found an online tutorial, since I had forgotten to look afterward. It's a perfect match from the factory.
A white Igloo with an aqua green interior and an exterior that was made of plastic was my old cooler. The cooler should be decent I definitely don't want to throw away a perfectly good drain plug just because it broke. The cooler was exactly the same part as this replacement part. A thin wall drain point can be used with it. Apparently there are coolers with a much thicker wall, so don't mistakenly get the drain that has that shallow pipe. The cooler doesn't have to go in the trash any longer, and it only took about a minute to install.
We started experiencing plastic death cracks when the last drain cap cracked while we were camping, which almost led me to conclude the cooler would not survive. The book turned out to be on Amazon, so I rolled the dice. Getting it off and on is very easy.
With my cooler, I have moved several times in the military and in civilian life, enjoyed picnics, went to the beach, the park, and attended many Contrary to the "other" brand I just bought to see if it actually kept ice for five days, this one has stood the test of time. This is an I think it keeps ice for a longer period of time than that brand. Furthermore, I bought a new IGLOO new generation "twin" after purchasing the other company's product which failed to keep ice in a 73 degree house without half melting by In my opinion, Igloos are the way to go.
