What are the chances of submerging it? Occasionally, I wade through chest-high water on a fishing trip and need to keep my phone and keys dry. ?

It's sort of like that.

Do you have a belt that would fit this?

In theory, yes you can as it has an upper loop and two velcro straps running horizontally across the middle, but that was not intended to be attached to a belt and I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't plan to access the contents inside very often.

It is crucial that you get rid of all the air in the space so everything stays The guarantee has not gone away. As a result of the Yeti website's statement that it's tested submerged in water for 3 hours (or something like that) and stays dry inside, I took it on a hike through a creek and put our phones inside. It appears not to be the case if you are moving. Maybe this nonsense test works in a controlled environment where you just set the bag in a pool of water flat in the water and don't move it. Just as you would not move a cup lying in a bowl of water, it will also stay dry if you don't touch There is also some problem with the Velcro ties. Although I thought velcro was all the same, this is apparently not the case. As soon as I had it strapped through my backpack's MOLLE loops, it fell off, so I had to put it inside the bag instead. Even though I wasn't even submerging it, I was just swimming through the creek so a lot of it was above the water, but it still sucked. When I saw the only thing keeping a watertight seal were magnets, I should have known it was a trick. This is not Chinese garbage. Don't be like me, which is a brand loyalist.

It's a little pouch that cost a lot of money but is a yeti bag

I bought this so I could attach a hopper 12 while I was at the beach and pool with my keys, wallet, etc. Quality build like you would expect from a yeti. I didn't expect it to be so big. It is sealed with two rows of very strong magnets, so if you reach into it with your watch hand it will likely get magnetized and disrupt the movement. To function properly, it will have to be demagnetized. I just wanted to let you know.

A major design flaw is that the belt is not waterproof if used on it

Any pressure applied to the top corners of the door will cause it to instantly lose its seal, letting water through. In the case that it is attached to one of their other bags or coolers that are flat and rigid, this will not be a big problem. On the other hand, if the bag is worn on a belt, pressure will bend the top so that it fits the shape of your body, breaking the seal (weak). I really don't think this bag is worth its price tag considering its claim to be 100% waterproof. In a nutshell Splashproof, for sure A waterproofing factor of 70% I assure you, that is NOT the case! I like its concept, but I have to rework the way it closes because it's very hard.

As soon as you snap everything together, it's almost as if it's floating Here is evidence. We use this on the baseball field with our boys and it's great. This is usually where we keep our bank cards, wallets, keys, and so on. This little pouch is awesome.

The velcro on the cooler is loud, so it is not a good addition to the cooler

It would be the perfect addition to your yeti cooler if you had this bag/pouch. Holds its form for a long time. As soon as it is closed, I cannot squeeze any air out, which means that it is very well sealed up. Since I bought it to attach to the small cooler that I take to work for lunch, I don't use it very often. It is hard to use the bag because the velcro is so loud in an office environment. The bags are not at fault exactly, but I may be able to tape over some or all of the Velcro. Overall, though, it is a very good addition to your cooler or can be used for storing dry goods.

The fact that I can place dry goods in the waterproof pouch while I also have the option of Velcro strapping it to the Flip 12 Hopper makes this a great product for picnicking

My high recommendation is for this product. It is fun to use, durable, and will likely last a lifetime. Ensure the item is registered. It was a good experience and I got a free gift from YETI for it. The company is cool. (*) . *. Colors such as charcoal appeal to me.
