2 inches long and 2 inches wide. The dimensions of the poster are 5" x 1-inch. With a 25" diameter, they fit my 48 QT and 165 QT Coolers perfectly. They should fit all Igloo coolers between 25 QT and 165 QT. Purchasing a used cooler is a good idea if it is in good condition.

There are 2 stainless screws and 2 stainless hinges on each side of the stainless hinge. The horizontal dimension is 5/8 inch. The overall size of the piece is 2 1/2" X 1 1/4". To fix stripped screws, use a tooth pick and break off the tip of the screw with the point facing out use a drop of Dap Rapid Fuse to seal the screw, sets in 30 seconds and cures in 30 minutes, works on 52" screws The button has a great deal of functionality. (drill the hole large enough so that the tip of the screw can just barely begin to go in) No drilling required with stainless

Hinges of this quality are available here. I found them to be easy to install and they fitted well. I would like to add a caveat to that. It is easier to open and close these than the old plastic hinges. These things were probably made in this way for a specific reason. It will break the plastic hinges if you, the wind, or a rug rat push the lid too far back when it is missing its straps. It is impossible for these hinges to do so. Rather than remove the mounting screws from the cooler, they will tear them out. The repair will look ugly, but you can still do it.
My Igloo Marine 36 cooler had two broken hinges so I purchased these to replace them. They matched the screw holes from the old hinges, but they were just a little too tall after installation, leaving the lid just shy of securing. There is a 1/16" difference between each end. For this, I taped closed the lid, stacked the hinges in the middle of the cooler, drilled pilot holes, and carefully screwed the hinges to the lid and overall body of the cooler. Stainless hinges are perfectly suited to my cooler. I believe this is the last set of hinges I will need for my ancient cooler (which is over.
The New Igloo is basically the same as the old one. As soon as I replaced the plug, I replaced the plastic hinges with stainless steel hinges, and now my 20 year old Igloo looks brand As sturdy as the hinges are, I can't see myself ever using a third one since I only used two of them. When the plug broke, I bought a new cooler, but after I fixed the parts, I returned the new one to the store and gloated at It took no more than five minutes for the work to be finished To refurbish my cooler, it took me 10 minutes. Nothing had to be adjusted because everything matched up perfectly. It is highly recommended to anyone to do the same to prevent causing more plastic garbage on the planet.
It has spent many hours in the hot sun on the atlantic ocean, and it is a 165 qt Igloo cooler I've had for about six years. Some of the original hinges made of some type of plastic have cracked and need to be They are a perfect replacement for the old hinges which I ordered previously. It will take about 20 minutes. A cooler this size is a no brainer for this price, unless you want to spend a lot on a new one. I installed the same hinges on a 48 qt Igloo cooler a year ago, and it also functions Not sure what the cost of the two hinges was, but it wasn't much and it was certainly cheaper than buying You weren't able to find a better.
They include stainless self tapping screws but they still lined up with the factory holes so I used those It took 3 minutes to make an excellent upgrade.
There were many uses on it and it spent a lot of time in the sun. The old hinges were also With my cordless screwdriver, and a newly purchased stainless steel hinge, it only took about 15 minutes for me to replace the broken old hinges with the new ones. There were no problems with the holes and the installation went smoothly. It's likely that the hinges will still be in good shape when the cooler is destroyed!.
My old, broken plastic hinges in the closet were immediately replaced with these after I received this item. Now I will not have to worry that the lid will come off of my Igloo Cooler for a long time. Thank you for designing a product that works. As soon as the product was manufactured, these hinges should have been installed. In addition to traveling with my Cooler, I also do deer hunting with it. To keep it fresh, I always clean it when I am done using it, and when I am done with it, I always insert a long strip of paper toweling. Please accept my thanks once.
In fact, I am going to take the hinges off of the ice chest when the ice chest is no longer usable and use them for another ice chest. I believe they are overpriced for what they are used for, though.
