I used the Coleman 48 Polylite and had no problems with it. All the plugs seem to be the same size to me.
I'm not sure how to phrase this. This kit did not come with a model number on the brown steel belt cooler I used this kit on. 1980 was the year it was purchased. In order to measure the length of the shank of the old drain plug, I disassembled the plug assembly on the old cooler. So, I bought it since it matched the length listed in the kit. As far as my old cooler goes, it worked. Thank you for your time and I hope this information has been
Except for Xtreme Coolers, it fits all plastic coolers.
If the model number on the bottom of the cooler is different from what is listed in the manual, make sure it matches.

Even though it is not the old style hinged drain plug, it was simple to install with a pair of pliers and There have been questions about whether it will fit this or that model and here are the models that are listed on the packaging The cooler's model #s can be found on the bottom.
It's not a good idea to buy it just to make do in case your drain plug has been lost. You can get a much more functional, 5/8" rubber stopper for a buck or two at any hardware store. If you want the money, you can get it for My Coleman Extreme cooler has model numbers 6262, 6263 and 6264 printed on the bottom, but I did not see the Seasense stopper plug until I bought the Seasense bailer plugs from . Because I didn't trust the compatibility lists, I removed mine with the help of a big screwdriver jammed into a 1/2" hex slot on the inside and a pair of pliers holding a round nut on the outside. Besides not wanting to hunt down an allen wrench that big (I'm not sure I have one that large), I deferred searching for a 1/2" allen key. The one I received measured 1" inside and 1 1/4" outside, so I chose it instead of the Coleman 1 1/2" Prime made sure the replacement arrived quickly and that the installation could be accomplished in just five minutes. I wish you the best of luck with your purchase!.
Replace your cooler with a repaired one instead of purchasing a brand new one. In the process of fixing my Coleman cooler, its hinges and plug gradually broke off, and the plug became In my case, I visited a Coleman outlet store and bought a replacement drain plug assembly on the assumption that one size would fit all. This is a normal occurrence with plastic coolers as long as the replacements can be obtained for a reasonable price. This is incorrect. As I tried to install the assembly, it protruded too far and I realized I had purchase the wrong part. Turns out I was supposed to have purchased a 2. My drain assembly should have been a 5 inch unit, but I actually needed a 1 inch unit. The part fits well and I'm very pleased with it. As for installation issues, the part is original quality (which means it will probably fail in five years or so), and it was reasonably priced for what one would have to pay to buy It will save you some money and you will be keeping your old cooler out of the landfill if you replace your old cooler drain assembly with this. Nevertheless, you should check your cooler model to make sure whether it needs a 1 inch drain shaft or a 1 inch drain shaft. Drain shafts of 5 inches in diameter. No matter how good your intentions are, you can't make it work if you got the wrong one. You can find your cooler's model number on the bottom of the unit. To measure the drain shaft length if you do not know the model number or if the shaft is not long enough, you can remove the old one. Therefore, we should be able to I wish you the best of.
As a result, I was able to use this product on my old Coleman Polylite 48 cooler without any problems. old drain plug was damaged and I was wondering if a new cooler might be in order. Thank goodness I found this product, and my cooler is now as good as new. It is great to have you here!.
While a bit expensive for a drain spout, it still works better than spending $40 for a new cooler. It fit perfectly. I was a little worried since my old spout cap hinged, and this one doesn't, so I was a little unsure about how it would fit, but it did perfectly. Two replacement caps can be purchased for the same price as this, but those caps would not fit the hinged version that came with the cooler, but those two packs will cover the repair in the event the cap ever breaks. As long as the plug was reinstalled, the ice stayed cold for 36 hours, even when temperatures reached 90 degrees during the day. Heat was leaking through the drain hole and Nevert realised how much of it was coming in. I never knew that this had been broken for years, I wish I had discovered it.
Despite being more than 20 years old, my Coleman cooler is still in excellent condition. Although my cooler's model number appears on the packaging, the drain assembly was still too long, even though the shorter version of it was on the package. Before I could tighten the inner and outer halves of the cooler, I had to add a large washer that was 1/16 of an inch thick. My strategy for tightening the assembly was to use a 2 inch stainless steel bolt with a 1/2 inch (13 mm) head and tuck the head into the inside Assembling the gear turned out to be fairly straightforward. I threaded two nuts together onto the bolt (now called a "jam nut") and tightened it securely with a 13mm socket. The inside of the housing was not damaged as a result of the process.
One day I found a Coleman cooler out with a neighbor's garbage, and the only thing wrong with it was that the plug had been chewed. Since the spout needed to be replaced, I now have a cooler that cost just $7! The installation of the new fixture was simple, but removing the old one was difficult. Even using pliers, it failed to move. Additionally, I was unable to remove the existing rubber ring, but there was nothing wrong with it, so I left it in place. If you are thinking about replacing the spout, I would first recommend that you remove the old one. In the past, I had purchased a different plug, which was supposed to work with my cooler, but it was clearly too long compared with.
Suddenly realized the plug on the cooler in our smaller cooler was severed and had to go out and buy a new one. The cooler was thoroughly examined and the model number could be found After conducting a google search, I found Amazon based on the model number. My first step before I started was to see if the plug even fit, and then I made use of a pair of needle nose pliers to help loosen up that part that was The screws must be removed, the screws must be reinstalled. The system is leak-proof. It was just the plug that I needed, so I returned the other two components to their original packaging.
