The handle of this product was plastic and it was part of the coffee pot when I bought it. There seems to be an upgrade to cloth in this case. My opinion is that it is much better.
Even if you took off the cone, I imagine it would still work, but there is a built-in pour spout, so if you tipped it to drink when it's full and hot, it might spill all over Risking it would not be worth it to me.
There is enough space in the large coffee container for all of it. Ours are kept in the boxes they came in so we can keep some extra stuff with it. You can use filters to optimize your content.

My favorite things about this product were that I received it promptly and that the design is wonderful. The only thing I disliked (and this may just be my fault for not reading the details higher up before ordering) was the clear shiny plastic material at the inside of the thermos. I should avoid using plastic when drinking acid or something hot that might leach harmful chemicals into the beverage. My expectations were exceeded by the speed with which this was delivered and how easy it was for me to return it. You will love it in every way, so if plastic lining isn't a concern, I would recommend it to you!.
It's pretty light for a jar this size. The cone is contained in the jar. There's nothing more convenient than that. Do not even try to stuff the cone into the jar without first placing it in the mesh bag provided We won't be able to do it. Is able to make a pretty good cup of you use camping in the cold, make sure to drink your coffee in a hurry It may not stay hot for very long because there is only a thin layer of insulating material.
Using this on four trips has proven to be a time-saving and highly convenient item to add to any camping kit. In comparison to the mesh found with it in the package, I prefer paper filters. It is a good coffee maker, but like all pourovers you should warm it with hot water first. This is because you lose a great deal of heat while the coffee is being brewed.
Even though the whole thing is a bit big for backpacking, it wouldn't be too hard to take the silicone top piece and use it with any backpacking cup you might have. The good thing about this coffee maker is that it collapses so that it all fits in the bottom.
A good pour through coffee can be made with this. If I use a paper filter cone, I find it difficult to use, perhaps because I don't like to wait any longer than is necessary to enjoy my coffee, and getting the water to boil is already challenging to me. I am able to use the included filter with my GSI JavaMill when set to coarse grind, but I will have to adjust the calibration. The grounds from my percolator got into my coffee, so it's not really an issue.
This is a great coffee maker for camping and at home. In addition to the quality of the product, the company offers exceptional customer service. It was so fast for them to answer questions and address concerns.
We have reached the end of the road. Using this device is easy, cleaning it up is easy, and it A better way to make a good cup of coffee that remains portable would be hard to find.
The thing I hate the most is As a result, the top is up. There is no doubt that this apparatus is well made. The thing I hate the most is I forgot to include the reusable mesh filter in mine. In spite of the fact that the filter is not included, this does make the product unusable even though the packaging and Amazon description claim it is. In the event that it was received as described, I would rate it as five stars.
