My favorite thing about it is that it is A typical day for me involves boiling water only. The majority of kits don't come with a cup and bowl, so I prefer to have a cup and bowl so I can use the kettle to make something else instead of cooking directly in the pot and having to use the pot as a This is still a pretty light weight kit, and you don't have to bring the spoon or cup if you don't want to, so your pack can remain light.

I really love this kit for a backpacking solo

It's very versatile and suitable for a lot of purposes. Having said that, it does have two downsides. First, it's not very small for those who prefer A second thing you notice is that the cup nests smoothly but gets nasty when it nestles into the bowl you are just eating This led to me returning it to the store.
