Questions & Answers

That's all I need to know about the product. I just read on this site that it is made in China. Buying Chinese products is out of the question for me. ?

My visit to Lehman's is currently in progress. Please contact us. Percolators are only made by Two companies, both of which are based in China. At the rate things are going you'd better hurry up and even buy any Chinese "crap" you can get before the Chinese stop producing anything at all.

If your coffee is ready, how do you know? I have found all directions to be completely ambiguous. ?

This is the coffee maker I've been using since I gave up using an automatic coffee maker. The grounds are more easily drawn out of the oil resulting in a better cup of coffee. My video tutorial taught me how to use the 12 cup Percolator, and I have been making coffee with it for 2 years. I will share my technique here (since someone else's public post is how I learned how to do it). The first step is to poke a hole in the middle of a regular coffee filter. The paper can easily stick to the sides of the holder so that it is free to be added to your strainer jig while you are adding coffee grounds (I add 5 dinner spoons of coffee grounds). There are some grounds that get through, but I pour the coffee, after it's done, through a fine strainer to remove them anyway. On the stove, turn it to the highest setting. Whenever you get a boiling upset, turn the heat down to medium (5 is medium on my stove setting scale of 10). During the percolation process, you'll keep it on this temperature to keep it warm. Open the lid of the pot and place the loaded strainer jig inside (I can't remember its technical name). Once the lid is on, you are going to see the percolation process happen/water will appear inside the glass thing on top, and you will see it drip over the coffee grounds to produce Ten minutes is a good amount of time. Once the pot has been on the stove for 10 minutes, turn off the heat, but don't lift the lid or take it off of the stove. If you can lift the lid to drink it without hot liquid dripping out from the bottom, it is ready for drinking. You'll love it!

Does the basket also consist of stainless steel, or does it have an aluminum coating?

pot outlasted the basket, which is made of a dubious metal. After 2 years, the pot's interior was so corroded and pitted that it was frightening to look at. In terms of quality, stainless steel is very, very poor. You will note that they do not mention the 18-year-old A child of eight or a teenager of 18 This is the third stainless steel. As far as the outside is concerned, it still looks like it's got a lot of chrome. A new glass top was installed after the old one broke. only part that wasn't damaged during normal use was the basket. This pot is now used as a bird feeder, so its safety is in question.

The first one is why there is a 1-minute delay Is it going to take 2 months? The absurdity of this is beyond comprehension in today's ?

In my experience, I received mine in less than two weeks, so I don't understand why it might take longer, unless it is out of stock or it is being shipped overseas.

A taste of muddy electrical wires permeated the coffee
5/5

My palate is snobby when it comes to coffee. I'm going to say it loudly! Since the beginning of my coffee drinking career, I've used a vintage stove top aluminum percolator that makes the creamiest, nuttiest coffee in the world. As a result of reading about the dangers of aluminum, I decided Percolating coffee in the Farber stainless steel percolator did not produce the type of brew I was expecting. My first attempt at cooking with the electric Cuisineart coffee maker resulted in coffee that To drink Kurig K- would be worse than dying Even though I tried a lot of pods and cups, I still found the taste of processed electrical aftertaste unpleasant. The thought of keeping my aluminum percolator and possibly suffering from dementia and metal toxicity poisoning never crossed my mind. Let's face it, a great cup of morning coffee is the best thing in life. Just as I was going to give up, I decided to take one more look at Amazon and order this percolator. Before she arrived, I was skeptical because of the many times I've been burned by coffee makers who promised the perfect cup and then failed to deliver it. It was too much for my little heart to bear. The first pot of tea has been brewed. You get a little sweaty and take deep breaths. Do you think it would be a good idea? Does the cup of coffee have the same stale taste? I would be remiss if I did not mention it was an amazing cup of coffee. A cup of coffee is in my hand right now. You should buy this percolator right away. THE NIGHT WILL NOT BE A WASTE OF TIME FOR YOU.

There is a lot of grounds in the basket of this percolator, but the outside is beautiful
3/5

There is nothing wrong with the exterior of this percolator, but the grounds basket is that much worse. There is something to be said for the flimsiness of the product and how poorly it fits onto the strainer rim. Grounds are ejected and get all over the inside of the pot as a result. This causes the coffee to taste gritty, and it is difficult to clean. Straining the coffee becomes a necessity. In order to secure the top of the basket, the top needs to be secured with two stainless binder clips. It's amazing what a difference makes! Adding cream to coffee makes it taste better and makes cleaning the pot I forgot to mention that the glass top breaks very easily. The double espresso machine is still better than any electric machine, since they go bad in less than a year in most cases. It also produces a bit more than.

The percolator is a nice buy for its price
5/5

It looks like this percolator is of decent quality. Stainless steel is all that's used. Surfaces are brushed in the interior, polished on the exterior. A welded handle and spout (I hope that it will last for years to come? No size is indicated on my coffee pot anywhere that I can see, which is going to cause problems when I use it at the campsite in months to come. It does not come with filters It would be nice to add a starter quantity just to get things started. A lip is located on the lid, which you must sit near the handle (top) before it will fit correctly. During pouring, this locks the lid in place. Lastly, the knob screws in solidly to ensure that it is also secure as it is being poured. There is no doubt that this pot is a very useful We've got a lot of photos for you to enjoy!.

It's time to get down to business
5/5

In addition to having had a vacuum pot and countless drip machines, several Bunns, and used a cone and a french press, I have made coffee nearly every way you can imagine, including in a coffee can (remember coffee cans with a key to open?) The Bunn's large pot filled a thermos quickly for work, and it was easy to heat up the As the drip produced very little, it was slower and less one-sided This brew has three dimensions. When I remembered what I had to do to get that coffee, I went for it. Trying to find the old all glass pyrex percolators was impossible, as they are no longer made and all I could find was at an extreme price. As a result, I bought it. At least five thousand cups of percolator coffee have been consumed by me, and I can and have made pots in my sleep most of the time. The percolator works well as far as it goes. To me, it never dawned on me that some people cannot do a simple task. The generational gap is probably the reason for it. There was not much else to it until maybe the 1970s or the 1980s. In a mug of hot, strong coffee, I am drinking, and it tastes so good that it will make the drip machine a contender for garbage day. My observations suggest that I didn't notice any of the quirks people mention, but perhaps you just have to get used to them over time. It has been a while since I used a real coffee maker, though.

The perfect coffee for true coffee connoisseurs
5/5

When you have a family with 2 or more coffee drinkers, this would be extremely useful. You will become addicted to drinking coffee brewed with a percolator once you learn how to brew it this way. I actually start on a higher temperature with my electric stove and then turn the heat down and let it brew for several minutes before I pour the hot water over it. I always place the pot so the handle is on the edge of the burner, so that the handle is not getting hot from the burner. You must loosen the lid a bit. Also, I always add just a little more water than I need to make the brew since some water evaporates while it's brewing. You may have to experiment a couple of times before you figure out how to do this right, but this is.

This is it
5/5

The best one has just been found! I love this stainless steel coffee percolator because it's stylish and durable. From other reviews, I wasn't sure if it would work on my induction range, but I decided to take a chance and it worked! It is what I use on the small element at the back. The only thing left to do is to center it. It reaches deep into the soil and percolates vigorously. Perking is not weak because the bottom is concave as has been suggested by some. The original glass knobs did not have any problems with me and I have been able to use the extras without any problems and I'm sure the originals broke due to too much tightening It says 12 cups and I don't know if they are smaller than actual cups, but mine only fits 10 measured cups of water.

Finally, it says 1/2 turn of a loosening nut and you won't have any problems. It is technically possible to put more in, but I am sure it would just make a mess with the grinds in there and the boiling action. I've also used this kettle for 6 measured cups and made great coffee as well - so it really does have an amazing range and is worth the money. Choosing a handle that has a good shape is the only shortcoming in my opinion. They could fatten up anything and make the shape easier to poor if they were going to make any improvements. The handle is one thing I am not going to dwell on, because I simply Oh, and the coffee is amazing as well. Bringing it to a boil (10 minutes with an induction stove using 10 cups of water) and boiling it for 12 minutes. That's it. This was the perfect alternative to our Keurig since we have a Keurig and needed something to accommodate large groups and also when we go camping! You've got a winning combination if you get this and a good carafe!.
