Besides using it as a French press and cookpot, I've used it as a cup both at home and while Woodknot gear coozies for 12 bucks fit this perfectly.

Trader Joe's instant coffee packets with creamer and sugar are convenient and serve a good cup of My wife and I have been testing it out at home and we are very happy with it! The coffee grounds will certainly be messy with leave no trace, but I have spilt my toothpaste into my trash bag twice before, so a few wet coffee grounds shouldn't pose too many problems. In fact, it may tamp down smells from the garbage (yes, if you are hiking multiple days for more than a few days, you should take your garbage with you). My plan is to grind up enough beans for three days' worth of coffee and hit the trail, knowing that I'll have the same quality coffee as I do at A great source of energy while climbing mountains is Go Juice!.

For some reason, I was thinking it would hold more water than it actually does when I got it in my hands, even though the size is listed on Amazon. I like the french press for its light weight, well built, nice bag, and the nice cup it comes with. Besides being a great pot for boiling soup, it can also boil small amounts of water, which is a big plus for camping gear. Whenever something can serve more than one purpose, I love it. As the manufacturer is only going to be able to make coffee for one person at a time or two small cups at the most, I would love a larger model. *Update Both times I have used it on camping trips, I have really enjoyed The brewer makes enough coffee to serve two people, but if you're like me, you'll most likely want to brew another cup to fill up the two cups. This is much better than the cheap percolator-type coffee makers that you find at camping stores. However, it would be nice if it were a little bit.

It is wonderful to get a coffee maker that is so good! Due to my solo camping habits, this is a perfect fit for me. Despite being lightweight, this product is very well constructed. Compared to other presses, this press offers a good fit with a very fine mesh, and is also spring loaded for a comfortable seat against the cup walls. There is a knob on the handle of the press that screws off, so it can easily be disassembled for cleaning, but it appears to be made out of stainless steel, which is fine in my opinion, but it is advertised as titanium. Despite the folding handles on the side and the hanging handle for over the fire hanging heat, the titanium cup is a winner in my books. Although I wished the folding handles on the side were a bit longer, then it would be more comfortable to hold. As I haven't actually put fire to metal yet, we will have to see how it goes. It is my first titanium piece, so I am unable to gauge the thickness of the material, however, the titanium pot does appear to be about 22 to 24 gauge (my caliper battery is dead). The stuff sack also appears to be of satisfactory quality, with no loose threads.

This is a lightweight, durable, and easily cleanable bag. There are no clear definitions of the 3 functions in 1. To me, it looks like an ordinary French press. Water can be boiled in it, and if you unscrew the top of the plunger and remove the lid, you can probably drink from it, but that part is tricky due to the fact that the plunger can come undone in two words, it is a good idea to bring a mug with you Lastly, if you are not camping alone, I would bring something to boil water in that is a bit larger. That's a 4 out of 5. Thought it would be of good quality, and it seems like it would last for years. Have not had the opportunity to use it in an actual.
