We received this a little over a month ago, and yesterday we tried it out for the first time. However, the unit would not turn on after it had been charged and updated. turned on, the device would tell you that it had detected the golf course and that the battery was at 100%. I would then all of a sudden lose all control, and the computer would all of a sudden lock up. As I said, I tried briefly rebooting the unit during my round, but got the same results each time. Unfortunately, I purchased the device over 30 days ago and therefore cannot exchange it. It is extremely disappointing and upsetting. A recent update To fix the issue, I contacted customer service, who informed me that the initial update must be completed on a Mac, NOT a PC. In the manual or on the website, they don't tell you this. I tested the unit on a PC today after updating it. It seems to work.
