When I played I used a flag laser rangefinder, but it was invasive on the field. Put the flag away after you get the flag out, then stop, retrieve, and put away the flag. During testing, the watch seemed to be within a yard of being accurate and always updating. Using a course hole locator, I can locate the holes on my main course. My strategy is to play the middle of the green on other courses. Despite not being able to see the flag, I was able to determine which club I wanted even if I couldn't see it. In playing other courses, perhaps an app that shows the layout of the hole, bunkers, etc. , would be helpful. Since most cards show an aerial view of each fairway, I don't need that feature at this time. As I watch, I am enjoying it. My watch shows the time as I approach my ball, and I only have to select which club to use. It's business as usual for me. My watch is so lightweight there is no way I can feel it at all as I swing my left wrist. My watch lasts at least three games at a time, so I may be able to give it five stars once more games have been played.

It's a nice product. We had our original golf watches stolen, so we replaced them with S12. Socializing and having fun are two of the reasons we play golf. It is the perfect golf accessory for everyday use. Their lightweight design makes them efficient and do not weigh you down at all. I can't believe how light this is. I can get very precise results, compared with my Nikon rangefinder, What I love most about it is the battery life. How is that even possible? I have still got 85% battery life left after playing for 4 hours.
